The sport rear spoiler helps clear up the rear window dirt, significantly.

Having driven the C for 3 weeks now, the ride is starting to get unbearable. It picks up every crack and slight imperfection on the road. I love the gas mileage, the looks but the ride, the ride is just so rough. My 04 Mazda 6 had beefier struts and springs but the ride was smoother. My brother is looking a the Prius plug in again and I might just buy his 14 Prius liftback, which was smoother.

No I have the 15" tires, aka original. The tires are Goodyear Assurance. I love the C, just not the ride. It's too "bone jarring" of a ride for me.

Why not paint the back arm rests silver like the front?? I have the 4C and mine are black.
Also wish the steering wheel would telescope forward.
The cloth on the front door arm rests is a stupid idea, bound to get dirty and look dirty for life! (I am going to recover mine in something more durable and maybe make pads for the door ledge near the window if it wont interfere with the airbags at all.

The back seat headrests can come out, which provides better rear visibility.

Can I ask where you got the spoiler? Prischat shop doesn't seem to offer it.

Which is why they are on cheap models.

My only complaint... Noise insulation, be it road/tyre noise or wind noise. Other than that all is good. :)

I have fixed or am fixing all my complaints, first off I bought a C4 so I have leather and moonroof and better wheels:

    - Road noise: Layer with FatMat to dampen noise
    - Cargo Space: Foam can easily be cut to have some empty space to store tools
    - Rear Visibility: Remove headrests or replace with Scion TC, mirror raises and lowers
    - Noise: Turn up my music!
    - Low lighting: Added LEDs inside and in cargo area, as well as HID for headlights. Add LED strip in roof in back for rear lighting, but LED in front provide enough for a small cab
    - Hate the clear tail light sides: Vinyl cover, or use plasti-dip in black or car color to add some style for cheap
    - Center armrest too short: It extends
    - No Dead pedal: Subaru one fits or use anything and attach, or use weather tech mats.
    - No visor mirror lighting: Use LED in cab and bright enough
    - No back up camera: Bought and installed one myself with no tech knowledge for $60.
    - USB/ Audio plug too far: Run cable under the hook and behind the glove box and have come out behind cup holder. Then attach a retractable usb cord for phone. Phone sits in cubby behind cup holders.

Paid for it all using the savings from gas. :)

After 168K miles I have two complaints: first is the seats lack lumbar support. Long drives are pure hell! Second, both front door locks have to be locked/unlocked manually.

Lack of acceleration capability, but that was expected. Everything else I'm good with or have changed.

Do they need to be programed? IIRC, our 2012 C2 doors auto-lock with the shift is placed in gear (D or R)..

No that's not the problem. The actuators (solenoids) are a known failure point.
My first one failed under warranty. The second one was out of warranty.
I traded my '13 in for an '18 at that point.

The problem with our 2012 C2 is the old 12V battery under the back seat.
Can't find an exact replacement for it. Not ready to try the dealership.. Yet.

Don't remember exactly. But I think the BTB warranty is 3 years and 36000 miles......so the first one failed just before 3 years and around 30,000. The second one about 4 years and 40K miles.

There are several threads on here about it. I think it is/was NOT confined to the C model.
The problem is that the cost to fix one is outrageous.....something like $600 I think.

Maybe we will be lucky. Our 2012 only has about 20,000 miles so far. So we might have 3 more years. ;)
Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on the locks..
