Arrgghh! I hate this individual name-spamming.
How about this instead, "Screw everybody who uses that stupid code to call out each person individually by name." I'm tired of seeing my name called out all the time for no good reason.
Evan's initial joke was funny but he's opened Pandora's box with this gimmick now. <_<

P.S. I think I have a sense of humor but when the same damn joke keeps getting repeated to you, I bet you'd start to get irritated too.

It's not nice to make fun of people who can't read.

I'm the only one who can rightfully say "I'm not Grasshopper!" ;)

ok, we don't need 3 threads with the "YOU" tag. I think the newer members who don't know about the "YOU" tag from the old PriusChat are getting pissed off.

C'mon, duane, lighten up a bit.

I understand. Sorry, :( my reaction was too harsh. I know you are a nice person and weren't trying to piss anyone off. :)
It's just that there has been about 5 recent topics that appear to be addressing me personally (and to everyone else that sees them) that really aren't.
It's like crying wolf. Now when I see my name I have to question whether someone is truly calling my name specifically or spamming me and everyone else with this false personability--it's such a disingenious tool to use, if you ask me.
Oh well, I hope you are right that the use of this will die off.

You're right! It is a good thing momsum read this thread! I only hope dadsum doesn't read it! I could end up a very busy gal tonight!

    The REAL momsum

PS I know how to read, all be it slowly, and had great fun with it. Not sure I completely get the joke though...but that's always been a problem for me! Hope I didn't ruin this for "you". :(

What are the chances, if it turns out that too many people are
confused and/or spending way too much time on this, that the tag's
action can simply be disabled? That would be my vote, because it's
spawning a whole lotta fluff and a few bad feelings out there.

I have been away from my computer for 6 days. Came back to check Pruis Chat and it has made me laugh. A lot , after I figured out what was going on. Life really needs laughter. Get with it.

I'm with it, and fortunately it's not affecting *my* normal use of
the board too much, but I'm trying to think globally here.

[you], this is proof that you should not believe everything ]you[ read.
If you don't believe me, just click on the reply button at the bottom of this (my post) post, read the copy of this post, and then explain how you believe [y.o.u.] is actually you and only you.

I read this thread early this morning UK time while you were all probably still snoring.

Since I read Prius Chat for information about my favorite car I tend to ignore the more infantile posts that seem to land with a dull thud on this web site.

Sense of humour? Yes, but a European one which possibly is on a higher wavelength than some of our most recent contributors.

Lets have more Prius and less crap
