Won't Boot - Replaced 12v battery did not fix

It is supposed to be somewhere on (or near) the relay/fuse box under the instrument panel, driver's side. Could you find the 30A PWR fuse? If so, the relay is supposed to be connected to one side of that fuse.

If you remove the relay/fuse box again, how about taking some photos and posting?

 

I just read through these postings multiple times. I did not see verification that the brake light switch was verified. Keep in mind this is a wear part and has a high potential to be involved in this issue. Next I would actually check wiring at the window switch in the drivers door. It is not unusual for high mileage vehicles to experience wiring harness failures. Do the door locks work but just not the windows?
Many times multiple issues are difficult to diagnose when ne is only expecting one issue. Finally, if the dash cluster has failed once again,it can impart some strange behaviors onto the body systems, depending on that nature of the failure. I would put my old one back in as a test. A used cluster is going to fail at some point so the reliable solution is a new one or a rebuilt to get another 100k plus.

You should create a separate post with the problems you’re experiencing. It’s rare that you would get two cars with the exact same symptoms.

 

So please explain the symptoms YOU have. Year, mileage? When did what start happening? Previous work that could be related? What scantool do you have and what codes have you retrieved?

Identical issues

 

Seems this problem has popped up before , trying to locate the solution

 

I have codes B2271 and B2274

identical issues with this , I’ve read it over , using tech stream and snap on scanner . The previous owner drove it until it’s completely stopped, he tried boosting and put charge on it and it died . The car is stuck with key in ignition mode .
I have changed the push button ; the key slot , at no avail . Every fuse and relay was checked , battery is good, engine light flashes and goes off , amber blinking light on the start button. I can code scan the car . No smart key and no buttons under steering wheel

You need to get a copy of the factory service manual with wiring diagrams.

B2271 indicates the the power source ecu isn't receiving power from the AM1 or AM2 fuse, or the ecu has an internal fault for one of those circuits.

B2274 indicates a problem with the circuit that triggers the ACC (accessory) relay coil.

You should check if power from AM1 or AM2 is actually present at the correct pins of the power ecu connector.

(If things flicker on then off, could be a weak connection. Or a bad inverter pump pulling down the AM2 circuit but not quite popping the fuse.
Might want to unplug the pump, replace the AM2 fuse, and recheck.)

Also unplug the ecu and check if the ACC relay control circuit is intact from the connector through the relay to its ground point (and that the circuit isn't shorted to ground.

Possible rodent damage?
