Winter Does Not Disprove Global Warming

Now I remember. I should think that one would remove all solubles with a water wash early in the sample prep sequence but I've never done it. I am waiting to see AMS 14C dates from soil charcoal I collected from 0 to 2 meters. And waiting, and waiting. I want to start a thread about that! Sometime in the last few 1000 years there was a megaflood around here and I really want to know the charcoal dates above and below that in the depositional sequence.

And there were cold winters, and hot summers, and other floods and droughts. So I am not completely OT. But as we have seen, different people determine trends in different ways.
