Windshield wiper question (with video)

I have the same problem on mine, but the smeared area is a lot smaller and it does it on the wash/wipe as well.
I have tried new blades, not OEM Toyota but Champion and Valeo brands, but it's still the same.
I though it was a distortion in the screen.

 

Yep same here. Took about 5 mins, just changed the inserts no need to remove blades.

 

The refills aren't a struggle to replace - they're very simple to replace AND you save a bunch of $$. Pull out the old one, transfer the metal strips from the old insert to the new, thread in the new insert.

The rubber replacements work great.
