    Awesome, I guess it is a trend when you received 250 calls from Prius owners wanting out of their Prius leases so they can get a Volt. And then Volt sales went thru the roof?

    This was published in January 2011 and did not help sell many Volts!

    The Ford Transit Connect EV is available in the US, and has been since late last year. The vehicle is Fleet only but since POTUS is talking about fleet purchases he should be able to get them. The Transit Connect is also eligible for the white carpool stickers which are available now.

    Sure it's available, but it's only got an 80 mile range.

    Doesn't work for a business where you're doing work on-site.

    Many days are over 100 miles, that's why the Leaf would be out too.
