I've always thought this comic was an appropriate characterization of individuals who felt they were a cut above the average bear:

 

What some people in Czechoslovakia, and other countries around, did to Germans after WW2, was barbaric. Keep prodding at women, they are people too, they will respond. They have free speech, too. They will start the countdown, just like me, to when the thing leaves or is removed. I just started right out of the gate. It will happen, tick tock ya know, it doesn’t stop.

Because some of us, (actually millions) were watching the totals in certain states before bed with 98% votes in, and the polls closed in turn to 100k-150,000k more votes at 3am mysteriously when the cut off time should have been the end of it. If that happened in a tight race THIS TIME where Trmp pulled ahead, the left would lose their minds and scream even louder.

It works that way all the time since people started voting after independence. Votes are always cast before cut off time, no exceptions. You just refuse to be honest about it I guess. Everyone knows votes are cast, then transported from many locations to be counted, and you know it too. Some are mailed from military from overseas and the postmark assures the vote was cast by close of election day. You believe something that nonsense because it a cult, plain and simple. That’s how cults work. Very dangerous things. Honestly I can’t believe you fell for that line about votes came in late so I won. Nonsense, total nonsense.

2020 was not a tight race, President Biden/Harris won by a landslide. More than the winner in 2016. Maybe ts feel better saying it was a tight race. It wasn’t. President Biden/Harris 306 electoral votes, over 81 million popular votes.

 

Yeah the “because I would have done that” response doesn’t apply here.

Probably not, the left has had about 1% of the comments post election 2024 this time that the right had in 2020. Engagement in the main social media platforms is way down post election.
Democrats being the boring party of level headedness aren’t the same terrible humans that a good 10-15% of the other guys are. They simply aren’t going to give you the amount of drama you crave when they experience an election or policy loss.

One thing that is actually interesting is that Googles number #1 / #2 search request around midnight election night in red states was
A variation on “How do I change who I voted for”. It’s been searched for 10 million+ times.

There has also interestingly been a lot of google searches and right wing rage about “who pays for tarriffs”. Certain folks are experiencing a lot of very public regret after discovering what tarriffs do. It’s somewhat comical watching the stupid short videos of someone discovering what a tarriff is for the first time and their reaction.

There are deadlines to cast a ballot, but none for counting them. If it takes days, say from some state having hand counting only, then it takes days.

 

It’s ridiculous what he has done to them with his nonsense. I don’t think my area has finished counting every contest today. His theory that he was cheated is absolute nonsense. Those are people’s cast on time votes he was trying to throw out.
