Why do Gen 3 Priuses tend to speed?

Not recently, but out on 128 it’s 70 in a 55 zone and on 24, it’s 80 in a 65.
On local roads, it’s 40-50 in 30 mph zones

 

Nope. Ever since pandemic, I don't drive much. When I do, it's usually a long trip. A SUV is far more comfortable. I will buy Crown Sport PHEV, if it ever comes to the US. Otherwise, we will be trading our current Escape PHEV for another PHEV next year... I don't think there will be any PHEV with tax credit by next year. If I have to pay a full price, then Rav4Prime would be the first choice.

 

Only if equitable. Have not paid any additional money on last 4 trades. But next trade will likely to be the last equitable trade.

 

I have been pulled over and ticketed in other vehicles I have owned.

The Prius though, never once.

Seems as though it gets a pass.

I have passed law inforcement while speeding and nothing ever happens.

I even have 5% tint and they never care.

I tell everyone I know to get a Prius if they dont want to be pulled over.

 

Mostly the same here, all except the route numbers

Not everyone is trying for the highest efficiency numbers on Prius Chat.

 

Most gen3s are driven by their 2nd or third owner who bought it because it was relatively cheap and still looked good. They think they are driving an ev and can keep up with the Teslas.
