The app is called 'Fuel Friend'. The app tracks and provides different views of data. The data is manually entered at each fillup. Here's my updated information:
Okay I had to capture it rolling over from four digits to five. I was also a bit cheeky capturing this a few hundred metres after leaving a short stop, so I had a nicely warmed up c with a short pulse and a nice glide. 10000 km = 6214 miles 1.4 l/100km = 168.01 MPG (US)
I know... I know... I'm immature and shouldn't be taking pictures while driving... but come on... everyone remembers doing it on their calculators in school.
How do you have the fuel savings cost and the "tach" bar on the same screen? Has this been interchangeable and I didn't know it?
in the settings.. it's like that when you aren't comparing mileage to another vehicle. and it's the eco meter... not the "tach".. lol... (however if you have an obdii device.. you can get an actual tach that displays the ICE rpms) also.. obviously.. you'd set your fuel price as well.
Correct, I like to use that display better cause i see how much I spent during travel compared to filled tank, I use ODO Type A to track it. I will post the current millage in my first Prius C anniversary (may 19)
Eco meter, thanks... my brain shut off. That's why I put the "tach" in quotes. Does it do other displays or just the savings?
True. I haven't really ever paid attention to the score. I think it's more for people who are learning how to not floor it from a stop and accelerate to a stop.
Mine is in for 25k mile service today. Purchased 4/27/12, not a single issue with the car. I've added wheels, foglights, nav override, and a cabin air filter so far. None of those were necessary, so the car has really cost me nothing more than gas.
I currently have 23,308 miles on my Prius C 4 ... averaging 45.51 mpg over all of those miles. This has been cold weather driving, warm weather with the A/C running and all in between.... Still better than anything else on the road.
I am probably close to the low mileage record. I am retired and spend most of my time at home. I purchased my Prius C 2 on July 21, 2012, I have only 1,352 miles on it today. I drive little, but I love my car...
It's interesting to note that this shows over 11 hours of straight driving at over 99.9 MPG. A little math will result in distance covered on this run of over 220 miles. See result of my attempt to set the record over at Top 20 - MPG Record Holders | Page 31 | PriusChat
