Purchased my C in September and have almost 11k on the odometer. I use it to cover my sales territory.
When did you bought your car. I just hit 22000 miles on my way to work today. I bought mine PC2 May 08, 2012. Not sure if such a high mileage makes us winners or L.....
I got mine in April. Here's someone on Fuelly.com with over 33k: Magnetic C (Toyota Prius C) | Fuelly So, we're neither winners nor losers (in this regard). We just are...
Ren (Toyota Prius C) | Fuelly about 28400 on the odometer. fuelly doesn't have all the miles recorded yet on my current tank, nor from when i first got the car.
So glad to see there are other big commuters here. Got mine Saturday, and I expect to put about 3,000 miles per month on it. Sad that I'll be racking up the miles, but thrilled that I'll be racking up the savings. Saved over $9 yesterday alone. Anyone know how to keep a running log of the daily savings, including every drive, short or long, that I take in this car? I'd love to watch it pay itself off in gas savings.
Bought my Three the last week of Aug and crossed 26k yesterday, I commute just under 1,000 miles each week. So glad the car is comfortable and mpg is solid.
Must have something to do with "Chris". I too drive about 1000/week. Put car in service in early Nov. Have 16,000 to date.
Where do you commute to/from? I go from S. Pa to Dulles Va. I started doing it back in 2005 with a beat up Ford Ranger with a broken seat and no AC. Then a couple corollas and now Prius. Maybe in a few years I'll do a Lexus hybrid, then a helicopter
I don't really commute. Instead, I'm a commissioned sales rep working the 'twin tiers' of NY/PA, covering about 10 or so counties on either side of the border. My most recent car was a Scion xB (350,455 miles). I've set a goal for myself of 400,000 on the C. And I intend to register for the 300,000 QuakerState cash back program.
