    Toyota diagnostic obd .
    It will show you the numbers rouble codes.

    I'm hoping gene fairchild did get the problem solved some time in the ten years since posting about it.

    For any new readers, when those dash lights are on, you should first want to find out why. There are a couple hundred different reasons those lights can come on. There are trouble codes to tell all those reasons apart.

    A scan tool (or Techstream software on a laptop) is great if you have it, and can show you the trouble codes in detail plus other information.

    However, if you don't have a scan tool or Techstream, and those lights are on, just get the trouble codes this way:

    That way, you don't delay learning why your warning lights are on while taking the time to shop for a scan tool.
