These are before updates. That is why I was offering my info and seeing what info people wanted. I have my 5000 mile service already and dont know if they will do the update also even though I may not request it yet.

I don't know the break in period but my Fuelly is listed below so you can see my mileage results so fare.

I would like to know your source for this information.

It is explicitly written in the letter sent by Toyota.

Mine was done today. Took 45 minutes including the car wash.

Not certain if my car, an early 2010 (July 09) would have a greater delta in terms of changes that the firmware updates compared to a newer Prius like a 2013+, but I'd have to repeat that for the most part the only change that I 'think' I can attest to is that the transfer from ice/electric may be more refined; less of a noticeable shift. Smoother in better words, so all is good.

Just a piss me off event in the fact that my satellite radio/nav traffic trial seems to have ended while the car was in for the update. Purely coincidence but my first thought was that my radio had been reprogrammed with the update. I paid to subscribe with more music and traffic and my feathers are no longer ruffled. Seems that Sirius/xm should have stopped my preview before now, I really thought it was some kind of deal with a lifetime feed but no. I did not know until after the fact. Was nice while it lasted and if I work out the extended free period into my new yearly bill the cost seems fair for the amount I enjoy the services.

They kept the power supplied to my car during the reflash. Before calling Sirius/xm to correct the situation with loss of service, I removed a battery cable myself to do a reset. I am of the opinion that many of you had this done, and that it does clear old data and I can look forward to better mileage now with warmer temps. If the sat/nav service had not been interrupted I'd likely have not cleared data by disconnecting the battery and simply rode things out.

Hope your recall goes as well as mine did, hats off to the tech and service manger at Destination Toyota up here.

    Roland

Thanks. I haven't seen the letter yet. I bought my car off the second boat to land in California, early June 2009. They must be sending the notice letters out totally at random.

It is in the envelope we all got for the recall. If you haven't received it yet, you will read it when you do.

I had mine done last week with my 15k service. Did not notice any difference. The service and recall were done in less than an hour.

I hooked up the OBDII apdater this morning and let it load all the sensors..I did not see either of these as choices in the graph. I may be reading your request too literally. Where should I look for these meters or readings at?

What are you using to read and monitor the OBDII data; SGII, Torque, Engine Link ?

If it's any consolation to us Prius owners, I just heard the Nissan Leaf has a recall now too. It's potentially more serious as it deals with the airbag not deploying.

I obviously missed the humor in your remark the first time that I read this :)

Got it..downloaded it..installed it. I got the voltage after boost as a gauge but I still don't see the HV Battery amps that someone was requesting.

    I see..
    HV battery charge control
    HV batter discharge control
    HV battery intake air temp
    HV communication open

    Not seeing that one either..

I see "Auxiliary battery voltage"..."Batt block max voltage".."engine Kw a wheels".."SOC Max" as questionable ones

I got mine done couple of days ago and I do not see a noticeable difference in the pulling power.
