When is the 2006 model being released?

    In 2005 there's a $2000 federal tax deduction for purchasing a new Prius. Next year it goes down to $500. Also some states have additional tax breaks.

    I don't know if this is true or not but I heard that the Prius can't have a moonroof because of the aerodynamics of the car.... anyone know for sure??

    Or weight. I mean, they could've put a fixed glass panel similar to the Maxima's SkyView roof.

    It does affect the aerodynamics, but some people have had aftermarket moonroofs installed in Priuses. However, I doubt Toyota's going to sell Priuses with them.
