What's Your Favorite Video Game/s?

Right now, all my free time is being devoured by EVE Online. (I'm Mendell Bartok; come and blow my ship to smithereens, everyone else does...)



But besides that, right now my favorites are (in no particular order):

1. Guild Wars Prophecies/Factions/Nightfall
2. Galactic Civilizations II/Dark Avatar
3. Empire at War/Forces of Corruption
4. Battle for Middle-earth II/Rise of the Witch-King
5. Dawn of War/Winter Assault/Dark Crusade

 

Well, nodays it is "Pixar's Cars" and "Simpsons Hit & Run" on PlayStation2 with my 5 year old son.

I also play "Poker Academy Pro 2.5" to exercise my brain and try to master Texas Hold 'em. I can always fire it up and play some hands, even when I don't have much time to play.

Ahh... Battlezone. That and Tempest ate way too many of my quarters.

 

My favorites in the arcade:

Time Killers (because at the time the violence level really was shocking to me)


Cadash (Because I got to know it so well that I could beat the entire game on ONE quarter, and would occasionally go to the arcade and play just to impress the onlookers!)

Great thread choice! It seems we all have diverse tastes. I'll go with the last quality games played broken down by system..


For the PC I would say Command and Conquer 3 (Supreme Commander is a close second)

For the Wii Zelda Hands down! (Only the second in the series I bothered to finish)

For the Xbox360 Gears of War... (more recently Lost Planet was also a good game)

Finally for portability how about Elite Beat Agents for the DS....(when I can get the unit out of my daughters hands)

That certainly looks like the Nintendo version of Contra....which reminds me...For Xbox Live my choice would be Contra! For a long time I was in the top 10 gamers scores...but alas there are now far bigger geeks then me playing

I think its one of the most popular codes in history! In fact it was added to the Xbox Live version, (despite them going for an arcade translation) because of the huge amount of fans that played the Nintendo version and remembered the code (or is it needed the code)
