Better interior lighting, I find if the passenger has the map light on, it's really bright for the driver. I'd say better focused lights.

SUNROOF, it is the ONLY thing I miss from the 4runner of old.

non-propriority sound system, I've always gone non-oem radios and players in all my other cars. A true Ipod interface would go a long way, but Toyota should not be dictaing what vendor I choose.

Odometers that can switch between KM and MI. Speedo is find, but I want Kilometers per Leter as well.

Mirrors that down angle on backup like in Japan so I can see the parking lines as I back in.

MORE GROUND CLEARANCE in FRONT. I keep scratching the undercarage, I'd only need an Inch.

Engine Hours tracking. Miles on the car does not really talk about how many hours on the engine have been done. (would help oil changes too)

Don't get me wrong toyota, This is my 4th Toyota, and after putting 325KMiles on my last one I have high expectations.

I like msot of the suggestions thus far but woudl also like:

    1. Telescoping Steering wheel - I find that the wheel is to far and the pedals are to close unless I'm sitting perfectly upright.

    2. Outlet in the Trunk area - For coolers and such.

    3. In dash 6-Disc option without the Tape/JBL option - The non JBL inDash-6 "option" just looks ugly when installed and canbilizes the cubby underneath the deck.

    4. Better suspension options - The cars so squishy, especially when windy.

    5. Rear armrests with built in cup-holders (like the new 4-Runners). - I just don't like the rear cupholders where they are.

    6. Activated Alarm without having to pay $500 - I've got the AM package.

I love this site and all the people that post on it. I recently spent some time on the hummer website and they are a very different group of people. If anyone complains about any aspect of their car, they get railed by the other members or accused of not owning the car and just coming on the site to start a fight. This site is so tolerant of the views and experiences of others. Thank You All! (ya'll)

EU specs, meaning more adjustable driver's seat including height adjust, four-wheel disc brakes, larger wheels and tires, firmer suspension and a leather covered steering wheel.

I agree with GeeWiz on the maplights. They're more like flood lights and don't do a good job of illuminating things at night. If I wanted a flood light, I'd just move the switch from DOOR to ON. The maplight needs to be better focussed.

I actually prefer rear cupholders that are *not* in the rear armrest cause that means if you have a 3rd centre person, the cupholders are still useable.

I don't have a Prius. I hope to someday. The few things I would change are 1) Be able to have height adjustment for seats. Lumbar support. 2) I am surprised no one has mentioned this, decrease the backup alarm. Put the sound on the outside of the vehicle where it is needed to alert people. That would be nice in parking lots. 3) I know this will happen in a few years, but have better financing. As far as I can tell, there are no rebates or lower interest rates. Imagine being able to get less than the current rate on new cars. Here in S.E. South Dakota, the rate is 5.25%. Not bad but it's not 3.9% .

I really like to have a bit more travel to the driver side front seat adjustment. And while their at it, being able to adjust the front seats vertically would be nice.

From my time in B.C., to where I hope to move someday soon, I know the law requires headlights on 24/7, whenever a car is in motion. I'd presumed, therefore, that Canadian Prii must have a more intelligent criterion for dimming the display--and I want it, too, for those times when it rains in broad daylight.

    And for when I emigrate.

I second the motion on the seating. There needs to be a vertical adjustment and better support for your legs and back.

you know what gets to me? the fact that when it rains, even if i keep the window barely cracked open, the angle of the door lets all sorts of rain drip in. my old car never had that problem.

I would be happy if the wipers returned to their off position when you turned off the car. Every other thing turns off properly, why couldn't they have done that with the wipers. It's a small thing, but I really hate it when the wipers just stop in the middle of windshield when you turn off the car.

Its called aerodynamics. With all the wind-tunnel tweaking to get smooth airflow you create a low pressure area if you open the window and it sucks the water in.

You can go under the settings and turn off the night reverse display if you want, but it will not automatically change when it gets dark out.

I WANT FULL NAV and PHONE CONTROL WHEN MOVING, if not for me, then for my passenger!

I would like to have full auto on all the windows not just the driver. More importantly, since this is a family car, I want back-off sensors on all the windows.

I brought my kid to tears one time for accidentally closing the window on her hand. This should be a problem of the past.

O'h yeah, I'd also like an actual Hepa air filter for incoming air. I have to drive through farmland on my daily commute and their almost always spraying or there's diesle trucks and such. Stinky.

I believe the low pressure is created "outside" the cabin. Opening the window should cause higher cabin pressure to vent to the outside. Ever have a map get "sucked" out the window when it's suddenly opened? When air accelerates to flow around an obstruction the pressure dercreases. Fairly basic aerodynamics.

Water on the outside surface of a vehicle, but within the boundary layer, can flow downward under the influence of gravity, even with high velocity airflow present. But, even more likely, whilst air changes direction readily, much higher density(therefore mass per unit volume) water tends to continue with little direction change. If a cross wind is present when a widow is opened, chances are water will enter even as air is sucked out. Dynamics of dissimilar mediums!

Don't forget ya'll, Canadian Prius have full auto headlights with DRL, and the dash responds to changes in outside ambient light. That's why the 2nd sensor on the dash by the windshield. One is for the climate system to detect radiant solar heat, the other to detect day/night.

My request, better venting options. Opening the windows at high speeds is almost dangerous with the huge bernoulli effect on this streamlined design.

With the windows closed, this sucker gets warm, even on cool days. I just want to exchange the cool air and my only option seems to be to run the air conditioner.

Just allowing the back windows wing open a little would surfice?

A fully intergraded "High Tech" wireless option that would allow for wireless access by a laptop, that could then link to a phone, or Ipod or other MP# device. Really just some type of interface that would allow for customization of the environment without pulling apart the Toyota spec. A truly multimedia car.

example: I hear the new Audi A3 comes with 2 SDIO ports! Amazing, even if the only thing I have figured out to do with them so far is play MP3's. (I prefer high speed wireless to this option though)
