Danny, et. al, If you're still tracking such, my new 2010 Prius III w/Nav came with 195 65R15 Bridgestone Ecopia EP20 tires. This is in the Columbus, OH metro area. Glenn
Due to a freak, second flat that hit the repair area from the first flat, we've been running: Sumitomo T4, 195P65R15 Now our indicated speed matches the GPS speed across the board. I haven't tried any braking or steering tests but at 51 psi max sidewall, they are working fine. Bob Wilson
195/65R15 - Goodyear Excellence. I received my 2010 Prius 3 weeks ago. Over here in Malaysia, the car is imported from Japan and there is only one official Toyota dealer. I think the model here is equivalent to US model II - no sunroof, no navigation, etc. The car's mileage so far is 1,350 km. It was under 20 km when I first took delivery. Thinking of changing the tyres to Michelin Primacy LC and swap the Goodyear tyres with another car of mine whose tyres have nearly worn out. In Malaysia, there are only 2 seasons - dry and wet. Naturally, the tyre's grip during the rainy season is very important. Heard that low rolling resistance tyres do not have good grip when the road is wet. Any comments on that?
