Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02. V with AT package here. Both Bridgestone and Michelin seem to get bad reviews. What are the better alternatives for 17" wheels?
Got my car today (Thursday): green curry expert (ON) - Premium+solar - Bridgestone Ecopia EP20 I was hoping for the Yokohamas, since "eco" tires are likely to have bad grip, especially in winter
I bought a 2010 Prius package 2 with 17 inch upgraded rims from package 5 that cost me almost $4k. Now they are asking me what tires I want? So I told them Yokohama, is this a good choice? Any advice would be nice too. Please let me know thanks!
Prius IV (w/NAV) - Bridgestone Ecopia EP 20 Snowtires have been recommended here in Central New York so I will probably spring for them...
Hmm, I thought I had already chimed in on this thread but I don't see me in the tally so I guess not; chalk me up for: Morro Bay, CA ~ Prius II - Yokohama Avid S33
Likewise which makes me very happy. Purchaesd through ID dealer (delivered through PDX port). Some folks say not great on snow so glad I have my 08 CRV AWD for winter driving. It has Bridgestone Dueller HT 470 tires and they are the best I have ever had. I take it in the woods, snow...and have only had to check the air twice in 1.5 years/22,000 miles - when I had the oil changes. I have to admit the CRV has been the most effortless car to maintain I have ever had. Two oil changes at 8,000 and 15,000 miles when I had the mini service. Almost time for third. I tried to get it done sooner but the dealer said follow the computer and wait until 15% or less. Since its leased, I said your car so cool. I had Michelin tires on my last Toyota, a 2003 Avalon and they were cursed. Several leaks plugged and tire store new me since I came by every couple of months for air. Hope the Ecopia live up to their big sister!
