But at least he doesn't have cockroaches! Yuck!

Better handling? Quieter? More horsepower? Sold! I'd buy it just for that, without ever plugging in. :ROFLMAO: Plus I like the styling of the Prime. Great looking headlights, and very nice looking rear end.

Yeah, I like the looks better, too. Only drawback for me would be the reduced storage. Sometimes I pile a lot of junk back there.

I'm seeing more and more Primes in LA County. More than the regular Gen 4. Prime seems to be popular. Great looking car. I sure wish my Prius was quieter. There is an obvious lack of sound insulation.

For me, bisco? 620, then the fuel light came on. (But I can do better than that if I slow down to 80... and take it out of PWR mode. :ROFLMAO:) i've never gone through a full tank since then. I refuel at 1/2.

I guess you got all the issues with your Prius resolved? You ever post the resolutions?

Yes. I finally changed the engine and Inverter. Now everything is working very well. The mechanic who changed the engine used the official Toyota manual already posted in one of the threads. The inverter swap was a walk in the park

Good to hear everything worked out:). I thought you had an issue with the HV pack as well?

    Thanks for the update(y).

Unfortunately that was a bad diagnosis from the mechanic. He wasn't reading the codes well. The HV battery is in good health and 251k miles.

I must be one luck SOB

l know you asked about grid charging and the Prolong equipment. Might be a way to improve your odds with the pack (y).

    Eyes fill with tears...
Runs away and jumps into his Honda Fit......drives off to the gas station.

I do miss the 400+-500 plus fill ups.

I'm currently getting about 560, it goes down to about 530 when the weather gets cold.
