I would get rid of XM radio and go to Serius. With XM trial I can not get Howard Stern. Howard is extra with XM. I mss my Serius - hate XM!!!

You need the XM Premium package. They'll let you upgrade your trial period for $10 so that you can get Howard 100 & 101.

I can't see out the windshield at night because the glare on the windshield from the gauges which is reflected off the dash board is right in my line of view.

To remedy this, I'm going to lay down a piece of felt to make light reflection off the dash impossible, that should put an end to it.

The gauges also don't go dim enough. They are kinda either on or off, the dimmer is pretty worthless at night.

I would ditch the "premium" nav and get a good navigation system. Or even go back to the one I had in my 2005. It work well.

Change A-pillar so that it stops blocking so much of my view.

Go back in time to 1940 and return the seats to the manufacturer who made them.

After 12K miles since last August:

    - More comfortable seat
    - More power
    - Less road noise.

The Prius is fine in small doses, but after a couple days of driving it I can't wait to get back into my GS350.

    * The HVAC should have A/C only, heat only, and fan only modes, just like home HVAC systems. Really annoying to have to turn the temperature all the way down and the A/C off in the morning, only to have to turn the A/C on and the temperature up a few miles later.
    * The clutchless CVT, while very smooth and reliable, feels like it has little low end torque. The fact that MG2 is always connected by a fixed ratio means it doesn't get a low end torque boost like the Sonata Hybrid's modified DCT does.
    * No tachometer. Additionally, there should be an "engine efficiency" meter that gives useful information while accelerating or going up hills.

It would be nice if the driver's inside door handle was flush with the panel so my knee wouldn't keep hitting it.

I would like to be able to lock the car from the keyfob BEFORE I close the door. Every other car on the planet works this way. After I close the door, my hands and arms are full of whatever I am carrying and I can't reach into my pocket or use the touch sensor on the door handle.

The button lighting/colors on everything but the electronic screens.
I can't believe toyota is still using the green lighting and the radio screen with green background and gray text.
Almost impossible to see, especially in broad daylight.
Please take a page from Audi/Vw's playbook in this area. Soooooo much better.

I agree, the visibility both front and rear makes the car difficult to park. No matter how close I think I am to curb or concrete bumper when I get out I am farther away than I thought.

Oh and less "plastic" rattles or buzzing noises would be nice too!

I know that's 3 things so pick the one you like :D

If I could only have one thing:

    Window sill line
Flatten and lower the sill line of the glass at the sides and at the front corners.
The present arrangement obstructs near field vision badly and makes alignment of the car when backing much less intuitive.
A high and sloped sill line may be current fashion but in my view it is both ugly and dysfunctional. The split rear window on the other hand doesn't bother me at all as it is functionally necessary to minimize highway fuel consumption and vision directly to the rear seems fine.

If I could have 2 more they would be:

A bit more silencing of interior noise

More practical surfaces in the trunk area. The present light colored finish to which things readily adhere is very frustrating, particularly when there is no apparent benefit in either function or cost saving.

    1 more soundproofing
2 try to put more read-outs in front of steering wheel; less to the side
3 put in water temp gauge
4 more storage space or cubie holes for cards, phone, ect.
5 do away with center island
6 have bigger & better battery, to increase EV mode from 25 MPH to 35 MPH.
7 another light in trunk area
8 built-in power inverter (12 volts dc to ac 115 volts
9 seats....more support for lower back

    I have two 2011 Prius!! I have made changes to # 1; #7 ; #8 and #9

After going from my '10 to a '12 I want my old nav back. Never thought I'd say that.
