I think it does wait a small amount of time for EV before coolant is exchanged, but I am not sure.

OK, I have a blonde question. Someone please educate me. I know the coolant noise when the car is first turned off. However, I usually turn on my HID lights when coming into the garage. When I turn them off, I hear a loud, almost buzzing noise coming from the front of the car. I don't hear this sound when I don't have the HIDs turned on. Can someone please explain where the sound is coming from (the lights or something else) and is this normal?
    Thanks.

It *is* becoming one BFD, at least around here. If the government-owned automobile insurance agency is warning people not to, and local news reports are warning people, then something is up.

Most registration forms, at least around here, also have the SIN/SSN. So with a name, address, and SIN/SSN, it's very easy to commit Identity Theft.

Around 4 years ago, an off-duty RCMP sergeant was at a local mall when his personal car was broken into. Once the crooks realized what a bonanza they hit, they immediately went to the guys home.

At his home, they were able to quickly find his sidearm and an RCMP notebook computer containing classified information. There were big repercussions over that break-in.

The HIDs don't make any noise, except maybe a click when the high beam soloid relaxes. I think you are coincidentally hearing the brake pump. It doesn't always have to operate.

Unless you are my wife who sometimes forgets her wallet. She got stopped for speeding and did not have her insurance card on her or her registration. :p

I do not worry about the identity theft. I can get your address just from looking at your VIN and/or license plate number from the Internet or just follow you home one night. And no I do not leave the fob in the car.

What if there are multiple regular drivers of the vehicle? Will the police accept a photocopy of the registration and insurance information?

Yeah so much for Privacy if any schmuck can look up things like that. When people complain about Identity Theft I always point a finger directly at the gov.

You'll have to ask them. Here, the answer is NO. Original only.
