For another unshakeable image: the baseball cap in the steering wheel?

You should work in the Prius Design Studio. I like it.

I don't think the comments about the Gen III console went away. We would have purchased a Gen III this summer with the good deals Toyota was offering but for that flying bridge.

For me is is about my clostrophobia. Just being in the driver's seat is already a challenge for me. The console was just too much. I couldn't even sit in the car with the door open.

    Yeah, D.O.

Seems like they capitulated on that centre console, and now look what we've got.

I think it must be a plot to make people like the Gen 3 console. :D
    After 6 years, I still don't!

Prius black interior, I think the shifter area and the console should instead be made of carbon fiber, or dare I say "Fake" carbon fiber.

And the cockpit like layout is common in, mainly two seater, sports cars. The bridge is a rare design element in a family or commuter car.

Wonder why they went thru the trouble of fitting a piece of chrome instead of turn signal indicators.
So, Gen III's wheel and console look even better in my eyes these days since they revealed Gen IV's "white bone china console"

Looks like the Gen4 0 to 60 mph time was not improved. Big disappointment for me. Yes, the handling is greatly improved, but I don't know if I want to continue driving a relatively slow car.
