Nice shift knob. I might end up with a collection of shift knobs since I change them every month.

This isn't the exact one I have, but mine was just a twist to remove and twist to install. I got mine off ETSY.

I ordered a Kenwood DDX6905S that was on sale (closeout model I think) which I'll hopefully install next weekend. I kind of wanted a chinese android double din for the customization but decided on this for the integration, 2yr warranty and Excelon "high quality parts". In preparation I took apart some of the panels to get a closer look. Out of all the cars I've owned this is was one of the easiest to access the radio.

Here's a look at the upper dash panel removed.

I put two strips of dynamat on the rear hatch cover (red markup). It was nice to find some factory sound deadening material on the inside of the hatch cover already. I think that horizontal plastic trim is for the hatch cover but I could be wrong.

The factory pillars have a bit of foam and fabric material. I cut some generic thinsulate material and hot glued it in a couple spots. I got the idea after seeing what a Lexus LS460 pillar looked like on the inside. The car is pretty quiet already but I've noticed some wind noise which might be those rails on the roof but if this helps that will be great.

I was pleasantly surprised when I did ours, very easy install. I wish more cars were built this way.

Ordered the TOM'S (Tachi Oiwa Motor Sports - Toyota) too many TRD on the road already. and replaced the antenna to shark fin, I think I like the old one better. I will put back the original antenna.

Replaced the cargo carpet with a Weathertech liner. I like the idea of being able to toss wet/dirty stuff back there without worrying about jacking up the rug-

Ordered Bilstein B14 PSS for it. Not officially listened in EU Bilstein but listed on JP Bilstein. No B12 unfortunately so I'll go for B14 with height adjustment.

Hopefully arrive in the coming week! Doing handling mods to the C this phase.

The weather was nice here today so I gave the C a wash and inspected the wheels more closely. Not only are the faces machined but the insides are a dark metallic finish with a cool layered effect. Not bad for stockers!
I think it took half the time as compared to my previous SUV and I can actually reach the roof.

    Installed the Carmate Giga DRLs.

Took me forever to decide on a damn power source. Instructions were in Japanese and showed some connection to where the jumping point is on the driver-side fuse box, I think... I wound up tapping into the passenger-side fuse box and used the spot for the gauge cluster lighting. The DRLs now turn on automatically with ACC & Ready. I had seen some people suggest tapping in at other spots, but I wanted something lower power that wouldn’t be “engine critical”.

I have to take a picture during the daytime, you know, since that’s kind of the purpose... But it was dark out by the time I finished!
