I have a black pc2 and where everyone is blackening out the front of their cars and it looks great but mine is black so I am thinking of having that area wrapped with the carbon fiber vinyl. I think that would be a unique touch. What do you guys think?

what have I done with my Prius C today?
...well, I only bought it last night, so currently it's sitting in my garage, until I'm awake enough to get all of my gear I transferred from my old car ('05 Matrix) and into the house...
    Greetings Everyone, from Oregon!

Greetings Captain, I have mine for about 5 months now and now I'm wanting to customize mine. This site has given me so many ideas. The last time I customized a car was with my 68 Mustang so I have been out of the loop for a while now and this will be my first import/newer car customization. I'm starting soon and will be posting pics

    Super Mario,
I needed a car with better gas mileage for long road trips, the Prius seemed like a good option, and I didn't care for the body styles of the others, the Prius C seemed to be closest to my Matrix, without looking like a minivan (Prius V)...
I currently want to acquire darker tail lights in my Prius C, but that's it (so far)...

what all do you plan to do to yours? I'm not tech savvy, but have plenty of my friends from the Matrix Owners, and a local Toyota/Scion/Lexus group eager to help me with just about anything I can think of...
    Respectfully,
    Captain L

I too needed a car for work that got good gas millage because my 77 Buick Skylark was costing me over $140 a week in gas and now I only spend about $45 a week for gas, lol. I am planning to get the smoked Valenti taillights and JDM blacked out headlights with the LED daytime running lights that look like what the Audi has and the smoked out 3rd brake light from JDM. Other than that I think I might add some carbon fiber vinyl wrap to some of the areas of the car such as the door posts between the from and rear windows that are flat black so as to give it a little more unique look. Oh and where I see everyone is blackening out the front of their cars in the license plate area I might carbon fiber vinyl wrap that area too because my car is already black. Just to give it that little extra uniqueness to it. Other than that I really like how the rest of the car is. I am very happy with this car and I'm just enjoying it

what trim level is your Prius C?
(EDIT: I just saw you have the Level 2)
while I'm at it, what are the nicknames for the Prius'? if you know any of course...

I too got mine in Black, the level Four Trim, with the moonroof, and went all out, my payments are set to be $298 a month...

I'd not be against a slight mod of adding in a power outlet like the Matrix had, I'd just have to find an ideal location for it...

I'm also not big on big clunky smartphone cradles, so I might just slap a small strip of the rough side of a piece of velcro onto the dash, and "tack" it in an easy to reach spot... just have to actually spend some time in the car and see what will work best...

    Try cling wrap.

JK. It's a natural part of owning the car; gotta clean it if you wanna drive it. Just give it a gentle scrub with some suds when you see it get dirty.

Captain: search for magnetic phone mount on Amazon. Thank me later

    http://www.amazon. com/gp/product/B00GXXHGLE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Check out that mount. It comes with a clamp mount as well as a magnet. I actually retrofitted the magnetic piece onto an old mount that clips into the air vent. Everything is really clean, and no large apparatus on the dash. Phone has never fallen off over speed bumps or anything. Simple and effective!

    Thank me now

Edit: Don't know why the link doesn't post correctly. Just copy and paste, then remove the space between amazon. and com

I was hoping to find something like this, except that it holds it above the Rear View, rather than below it...

i c that item at amazon for $185, ouch! was it ez to install??? i want one if they get cheeeeper ;=]
I dint like the plastic pancake wheel covers on my C1 so i gave em away and bought 16 chrome lug nuts and a can of metallic blue spray paint and sprayed the center of my black steel wheels, being careful not to overspray on the tire rubber. It is not necessary to paint all the way out to the edge of the wheel, the blue blends in just fine with the black wheel if u only spray the wheel center and dont spray the wheel rim.
A twenty dollar personalization!! Blue wheels chrome nuts.JPG

It looks like effective paint protection! but there's too much of it, giveing the prius a fat-nose look. I could see just using the top bra band that goes over the hood.
