What happens after the XM trial period?

They'll spot you a couple of extra days then all of a sudden drop your XM reception. When they come looking for you, ask for their $88/year special ($77 + royalty fees).

 

Oh, I should be so lucky! I was listening to XM100 yesterday around 2:15 it just suddenly dropped....and the audio screen flashed "unauthorized". However, my traffic part is still working. I haven't heard a word from XM yet (no phone calls), except for the letter that came about a week ago about the trail about to expire. I'll wait and see.

 

I've been listening to their "symphony" channel. Some good music, but I have never heard music from so many minor composers before. And you can tell why they are minor composers.

 

What would they charge for Fox news, PGA and Nascar channels? Thats all I want? LOL.

 

Do you have to stream the audio from your phone to the radio using one of those adapters, or can you stream it through a cable in the USB port?

 

I would love to know how XM got my information. I do not recall authorizing the dealer to inform XM I bought my car in June. I have Sirius in my other car and do not plan to subscribe to XM unless I am in for < $100/yr including Howard Stern.

In the interim, I stream Sirius via Bluetooth to listen to Howard.

 

My Prime came with a 3 month trial. About a month in I got a letter that said I could an additional 3 months for $2 after which it reverts to monthly. This is perfect for me since I can get thru August for $22 total at which point I will cancel until spring 2021

 

LOL, over 5 years after the fact, I still get letters in the snail mail for re-subscribing.

they did slow down a few years ago, but now I get them almost every week!

 

I would consider using some sort of temporary credit card number with those jokers.

They WILL auto-renew you, no matter what they've said.

Refunds and cancellations in my experience required a toll-call to an obscure number. I think the only reason I managed was that we'd happened to have our credit card numbers changed around that time. I will never do business with them again.
