What do you use that empty slot behind the steering wheel for?

I have my haircut appointment cards written backwards and lay them facing outward and I can read the reflection in the windshield as to when I go in next time.

 

I keep some changes there. I hope people won't be breaking my window for two dollar changes.

 

i put my fob up there, in the littie one on the right. if i have to get out of the car to open the gate,doors
or i just want to step out of the car wile it on.

 

Sunglasses for me, but I take them out when I park in the open during the day.

 

I keep my sunglasses there, too.
I tried to put my garage opener in there at first but it didn't fit very well. It's one of the bigger ones so I moved it to the thin slot that's located next to the parking break near the center console.

 

I put a 2x AA battery solar charger there.
