This is now for the Prius 2. Can you give me some feedback? Should I take it? Need to know ASAP! 2016 Toyota Prius 2 MSRP: $25,315 Invoice: ? Sale Price: $22,561 LA County Tax + Fees: $2,451 Total Out the Door: $25,013 w/ 0% APR 72 months Thoughts? Should I take it?
Take your Costco card in with you. Remember that the Costco discount comes right off the top of the MSRP and dealer/factory discounts come into play after that.
Yes, do this But remember normally it is either the $$$ discount or you can opt for the financing option (0% for 72) so if you can find a nice medium and get a dealership to grant you both a decent discount PLUS the 0% then that is great!! I personally took the $4600 (Costco plus toyota rebate) cash rebate total and got a loan through my Credit Union for 1.90% for 72 months for the balance....
Ok I'm going to look more. A lot of the dealers around my area don't participate in Costco unfortunately. I found a 2016 Prius Package 2 with silver exterior, black interior for $20,152 with the $2K rebate. Better than the last price I was quoted somewhere else. Fun stuff!
I did much the same. I had some money to put down plus my trade in, so it didn't make much sense for me to finance with Toyota. I got a 2.24% 48 month loan and I'll likely pay it off in a couple of years or less. Remember, if you take that 0% offer by giving up a cash rebate, you are paying finance charges in advance. If you pay your loan off early, you've already paid for the interest on that loan.
Wondering if anyone in the MA area can chime in and let me know what they got and what dealers they used? I'm looking for a base model, any color except black. Thanks! iPhone ?
I'm in northern VA and I've got quotes from dealers mainly in Maryland for a Package 2 Eco in Blizzard Pearl: 22157 OTD. Also I think we should start quoting tax rates/freight/title/dealer processing fees once we do get the paperwork for comparison purposes because it's hard to compare all these prices and packages and different tax/fee structures in the same thread. VA sales tax is 4.15%
2016 Four Touring, Blizzard Pearl, tint, nitro tires, mats/cargo net. $27900 before TTL (since all states vary.) No financing
Guys, I am offered 2016 Prius 4 touring blizzard pearl without other options for OTD 28989 (taxes, lic included). I am in 9% tax bracket (L.A. County). Good deal? I called around so far this is the best price. Can I do better?

Did you already buy this car at this price or?? In my experience $600 for a dealer to do its paperwork is ridiculous!! $100-$300 MAX.. Also $500 for tint is way overpriced. Most on here including me have paid $200-$300...some even less if you catch a sale going on. And finally what is a Webdesking option? Have never heard the term before? Good luck and some food for though if you haven't purchased it yet.. Besides above, your sale price looks good!
Looks like prices have been coming down since this thread started earlier in the year. Have we hit bottom yet? I just bought one Friday: 2016 Prius 4 (AT, CX...etc.) in Blizzard Pearl $33,745 MSRP $27,373 sales price (includes the $2k rebate) $30,160 OTD (SoCal)
I already bought it. They let me take several cars home for a week. I figured I'd let the guy make some commission.
