DEEFD597-2926-4BD5-8CCF-72CF23D79C98.JPG Put the 16 inch European specific wheel back on the car, minus the dumb hubcaps. This car is very sensitive to tire inputs; the mileage went from 44 (17" Gen 4 rims) to 52mpg.

That looks really good! Yeah, I think smaller rims = lighter weight = better gas mileage.

I'm such a fan of those Touring Model (in the US anyway) wheels. It's too bad they weren't stock on all Prius here, it seems like 99% I see have the base model 15 inch wheels, so it's hard to come by a great price (that isn't as much as buying aftermarket wheels) when someone is selling them, if you even see them for sale at all.

I used a DA (Dual action) Porter Cable polisher with a Meguiars Microfiber pad and correction compound. IMG_7993.JPG IMG_7995.JPG

Changed all the interior (except boot) and licence plate bulbs to LED ones, what a huge difference! Getting to the rear plate bulbs was a pain in the jacksy, but happy that I didn't break any of the pins that hold the panel in place. Also my puny fingers didn't have the strength to twist the bulbs to undo them, luckily the bulb holder has 2 holes in it so used an allen key for leverage, so much easier.

    Still to be done:
    Tints
    Shark fin aerial
    Boot/bumper protector
    Weather shields

Hoping to find some LED replacements for the main driving lights, the only one I've found is this but says the bulb may be too big for the enclosure? LED Headlight Kit - H4 LED Fanless Headlight Conversion Kit with Compact Heat Sink | High Beam and Low Beam Headlight Bulb | Front Exterior LED Bulbs | LED Lights | Super Bright LEDs

Here is a picture of my neighbour's car. When I asked her about the reason for the sexy eyelashes, she explained that her husband, being such a lousy driver, had already totalled three of his own cars, and the only way of stopping him from using her car was to make it "girly" enough so that he would refuse to drive it! When I lived in the UK, I remember seeing a Lotus Elan S4 outfitted in a similar manner! Eyes.jpg

I saw a white Gen 3 with black eyelashes a couple days ago. I'm pretty sure that would keep me from driving it short of a medical emergency. :D

    Tail lights tinted yesterday.

Might need to replace the park light bulbs to a brighter color though.

tail lights look great. but you need to de-badge it and throw away the plastic license tag frame.

Thanks, but I like the look with the badges on.
Might do something about the license frame though.
