Installed red bullet vvti solinoid (much improved response especially on freeway)and did a spin type oil filter conversion with hks filter

where do u even get clear lenses/covers? Im thinking of opening my headlight and paint the chrome parts around the projectors black, but my lenses r scratched up AF...

 

How is the difference with the red bullet. Mine haven't arrived yet.

When you say on the highway, do you mean when you’re in the power bar on the screen?

Enjoy all of the mods you have done! With the red bullet, if you are going 65 on the freeway and want to pass someone, are you're saying the pass response is much better? How does red bullet feel from a dead stop versus before? Also, does the power mode make it worse or is it no difference now that you have the bullet?

 

I think I found my next mod!

I was told by the seller guy max that the 'slots' for the heavily discounted ones were already taken by, hmm, certain 'senior members' ....

 

Money has been tight last few months. Flow is getting better. Should have by end of August.

 

Installed some back up/parking sensors. I put the screen on top of my Scangauge II for a neat and clean look. I’d like to say it’s for my wife, but I backed into a pylon at work and scuffed the rear bumper on the driver side last winter.

 

What happened to the back camera?

 

It was dirty and the temperature was -40 degrees Celsius so my rear window was frozen so I didn’t see it. I was also just leaving work at the end of the day on a Friday. ‍♂️

 

Nothing cool... Just put on new tires.. The Prius came with some Hankook Optimos that I actually got 65k miles out of and were pretty sticky in the beginning but didn't do well when we had all that rain.. This time I picked up Yokohama YK740 GTX that are rated at 65k so, we will see if these last me.

So far I really like them. Great traction on the back roads.

 

bought mine from lightwerkz.com. I emailed them a few times just to be sure. also dropped in their hid setup.

Nice! Makes sense why there wasnt any modding lol! Its literally just the lens. Way cheaper than what I was trying to do!

 

So I was tired of not being able to see when backing up, tinted windows didn't help. so I bought some Amazon bulbs... 4 of themJDM ASTAR 1200 lumens and got the diode Dynamics smartTap CF18 Flasher and their Tail as Turn...check it out

Now you just need License plate LED’s

 

yep got those on order. also doing switchbacks for the front blinkers so I can have a white running light which I will tie to the fog light. Also that new blinker relay allows for a courtesy light so when you lock or unlock the car the parking lights,blinkers, stay on for a programmable duration.
