Just Washed! Seems like it's been raining for weeks!

 

Wow the lights looks good!.....hmmm, may go visit Walmart real quick....

 

It was yesterday but I hardwired my radar detector. I did a write up in the accessories and mods section. I hope people find it helpful!

 

Went to Longo Toyota today, for my first 5000 mile check up . Just want to say, they went out of their way to make it a really great experience. Plus they disarmed the the back up beeper for free.

Started to plasti-dip my emblems. Did the rear and it looks great! also did my stock wheel covers. Looks ok..

 

Dang that's a nice front to rear cusco setup you got. matching on top as well?? hows the ride with all those braces?

Curt hitch installed. Nicely finished round tubes. Also minimal loss of ground clearance.

 

Thanks . You know, I bought this car for the great gas mileage. It makes me smile, ever time I pass by the gas pumps...
But now I get a bigger smile when I see the signs that says curves ahead.

 

Installed heated blue mirrors today

 

i think you were suppose to mount them horizontally

 

Are you going to paint your mirror housings or leave them black?

Edit: NVM, they are just the mirrors/glass themselves right? Not the whole housing and mirror.

Tinted windows. 35 on sides and 20 rear. A must if you have kids and black interior

 

zhutton - I too am interested in those mirrors. I understand they come on with the rear defrost, correct? So just the lens/mirror was changed out for blue, or...?

 

Washed and Zaino'd my Blizzard Pearl for the first time. Had to get it done before the weather gets too hot. I'd post a pic but frankly, the BP doesn't really show it well.

 

The blue mirrors are the whole glass part, 'bolt on, bolt off' installation.

The electrical element for the defrost is linked to the rear defroster and activated when the rear defrost is on,

In the day it does seem to take some of the brightness out, Just got home now and they are excellent for glare reduction of headlights from behind.

Apparently they have a rain repellant coating on them, they seemed to perform well when I threw water on them but I'll have to wait until the snow turns to rain to test that out....

Overall, very pleased, just wish they were a little less harmful on the wallet..... (I smashed one of my regular ones so kinda had an excuse)
