just changed a few badges in the rear, F-sport is changed out by a black-striped "Hybrid synergy drive" emblem and where the huge "hybrid" badge was is changed to "limited edition" (only reason i put a badge there is because toyota abselutely had to drill two more holes in the hatch on the EU version... Wth was going thru their mind...)

Now im gonna start working on getting my front camera either on my rear view mirror (there is mirrors now that got tv screens built into them, so it looks like a normal mirror until u click the front camera button and a small portion of it turns into a screen with the front camera view on it)

I am just really considering to remove my parking assist and replace it with a 360 view camera... its kinda of easy to do, buy a image split screen box and two cameras on the outside mirrors, one in the front and one in the back and yea... just make that appear on the screen. i just wish it was a way to keep the parking assist. Maybe i could make a button that dissables it if i wanna use the 360 camera. My navigation only allows the parking assist video source to be displayed now, but if i could disable the parking assist i guess the naviagation would allow an other video source?. i tried to make my navigation display my front camera with the extension cable thingy u can buy, but yea.. that didnt work. Cause the activation cable activated the rear camera and not the front camera lol. But if i disable the video source from the parking assist i guess i could display another image? what do people here think about that?

Im also working on another mod, rear view camera washer, the existing camera washers u can buy r just to expensive... plus u will need to add another reservoir and shit... What i was thinking about was just tapping into the rear window washer with Y splitter thing, so whenever i use the rear washer it washes the camera aswell. I think os using such a small tube it doesn really affect the water pressure on the rear window.

U could up the power which would make it slightly brighter but over powering it could shorten its lifespan or completely burn it out.

Talk to @Dylan Doxey he had the Birdseye view installed in his Prii

    iPhone ?

Finally done with my project. Painted black headlights housing with yellow high beams. I know yellow looks tacky but I hate chrome. Took about 6 hours to diy but well worth it.

Hi MagnusAG99, below was from my original post:

I finally got two of my projects finished! Last weekend I finished the installation of my BDS (blind spot detector) and yesterday I got the thermal camera installed. I have an Android head unit which works with the camera; however, the camera isn't really designed for vehicle so I had to jury rig it and made it as safe as possible from the outdoor elements. Driving a Prius (hybrid) helps in keeping the device from getting hot because the engine is not constantly running and since it's mounted at the front, the airflow keeps it cool. There's actually a thermal camera designed for cars like the FLIR PathfindIR II, but I wasn't willing to spend $2,500 for it. This ThermApp camera I found on Amazon for $800 and works just fine for me. I used the iOttie GoPro mount and it's holding up exceptionally well. I don't notice one bit of vibration on the screen. I made a lens cover using a PVC plastic I found at Lowe's and placed a Zip Lock plastic bag and taped it sealed using layers of electrical tape. It didn’t come with a remote switch so I decided to put one and I found a customizable one online. I ran a USB cable through the firewall grommet, connected the device and VOILA! IT'S ALIVE!!!

Oh ya 3m has a way deeper black to it. I don't know what kind of bull shit was put on by the first owner. Almost any mod he did i removed and replaced it. Shit plug and play hids to retro, replica kit to real, springs to air etc

Follow you bro! Keep it up and don’t sell it at the end cause all the hard work put in won’t be worth it.

image.jpeg Payed a visit to Hybridpit today for my 5,000 mile oil change. This is my 3rd oil change using 0W-40 oil, Prius seems to be liking it!

I'm using Motul 0w-40 myself, zero oil consumption at 102k and oil analysis wear numbers are very good. 0w-20 is so thin it had might as well be water. I worry about how thin it is when it's at operating temperature.
