I added a twistedshifterz.com shift ball. Went with the white “cue ball” look. Ordered Monday, delivered Friday. I like it.

 

Wasn't today, but picked a Hotchkis rear sway from Hybrid Pit.

Picked up a wiper delete, will install next weekend.

There’s no market for modded items in the UK, so I’ve been looking at importing items from Japan, the goods are not badly priced but the shipping is OMG!!!

It’s going to cost me nearly as much in shipping as it does to buy the parts


2010 Gen 3

 

Continental ExtremeContact Sports installed, replacing my old Continental DWS. 225/40/18 size. I decided not to get Federal RS-R's like I have on the Miata because we mainly use the Prius as a road trip car that just happens to be fun to autocross as well.

I can already tell these are FANTASTIC street tires. They have tons of grip with a stiff sidewall, and are apparently amazing in rain and wet weather. I think I made a good call getting these!

 

Who would have thought a Prius is faster than a C3 Corvette? Note, we only accelerated up to the speed limit of 45mph.

 

Nothing new physically on the car yet but today I put in another order for parts from japan thru hybrid pit. Lots of cool new stuff coming but the wait is killing me

 

I added PCV catch can and a dash cam to mine yesterday. Poor weather prevents me from posting pics.

The catch can hoses are routed forward, the catch can mount uses the left side bolt of the safety catch for the hood. I removed all of the push pin clips and pulled the top of the bumper forward just enough to work the catch can in.

The dash cam is stuck to the windshield just below the mirror. It has already paid for itself. The night I installed it, I went to the local Walmart grocery store. I returned to my car to find a woman standing at the front of my car. She “claimed” I rammed her car, breaking her front plate and damaging her bumper. There was debris on the ground in front of my car. I told her to call the police and we would settle it. I told her that I would show them my camera footage when they arrived. She said “What do you mean by camera footage?” I pointed to my dash cam. She said I have to go, and left in a hurry.

 

Installed new cwest front lip since the last one got destroyed. Fixed my rear lip since it was sagging..and washed it!

 

Any pointers on installing oem jdm visors on the clips?

When u align the bracket to the clip how do u get it be secure? It keeps going past it and not secure and moves around. I keep taking it off and trying again. So frusterating. I almost wanna install it without the clips and the sticky tape only

 

I have mine installed without any clips on. I only used the 3M double sided tape. The visors are holding up very well after all the SoCal rainfall and no issues when driving at the freeway speed as well.

 

Experts a hybrid pit got my oem jdm visors installed clip intact. Level up!
