What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Since a few folks asked before, I'm about 90% of the way done with the wing. Just need to bolt it to the trunk and give the posts another respray to match the color better.

Overall very easy process. It came with threaded holes for each piece to bolt into, so there's no self tapping screws or any of that crap here. The whole thing can be unbolted in a minute or so and removed from the vehicle if necessary. I'll find some rubber plugs to plug up the holes left by the bolts in case I ever need to do that.

All finished! Got the wing installed and it looks great! Needs a little touch up paint and some buffing but otherwise, it's perfect! Considering plastidipping it all black, but I'll think about that later. Here are a few rainy shots of the wing.

Taped over the wipe hole until I can find the wiper delete kit I bought...

 

Damn, those are houses in Mississippi? Shoot, we in CA pay over 500K for slightly over 1200SQ home.

Wiper delete done. Looks much cleaner, and the kit was a perfect fit.

I never used the rear wiper anyway so no loss there.

Had the windows tinted, 35% ceramic all around minus the windshield. Also installed a Kenwood DMX-7704S headunit and a JL Audio ACP108LG-W3v3 powered 8" sub. I miiiight be done for a while... lol Heres a pic from Sunday morning before my ride.

Finally got below 30 f temp, it was grill block time. A third grader did it.

I'm Ruben a bicycle mechanic from the Netherlands.
I drive a 2010 Prius 1.8 since a few years now and finally the mod itch started. (It will be in a very mild way comparing ro a few of the guys here).

I already did a few led mods

 

Huh I lived in Utrecht when I was a kid!

 

Finally done. Took off my broken front lip. Installed Winjet foglights. Painted the housing black. Then got some led drl.

 

Got a chance to swap out dash speakers. Sound way better now
