Feeling the pain from yesterday, my hopes were high on my commute this morning. I have to admit the difference is not night & day. I'm still hearing a lot of road noise, such as dirt being thrown up inside the wheel wells, and the drone of the tire treads on the pavement.

I need to do more. I need to do the inside of the door panels, and I need to do the areas of the floor to the rear of the back seat.

Another thing that makes noise is the creaking of the interior trim panels in the back. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done for that.

@Dylan Doxey Did you do your doors too? Or just the floor?

I only did the floor, from the back seat forward.

I did door. The bottom is way too much labor intense for me. It's out of my league. I might just do the rear seat since it just pop straight out

I probably would not have considered taking this on if I haven't witnessed @sfv41901 tear a car down this way three or four times in a single day.

But holey moley, labor intense is true. Just laying the soundproofing alone was exhausting.

Well not today, but recently I set out to install close-to-OEM foglights on my 2012 Four. I want to stay close to OEM look, install, simple, low wattage, reliable, and running as cool as I can, and I want to see how cheaply I can do it.

I am not set out to install the fanciest and brightest. I know I can do this by buying the black grille insert, get the projector selling on the forum by and member, and install an HID kit. This is not my mission (for foglight anyway).

One way was to purchase through eBay the whole kit for $192 from the seller in San Francisco, but I don't know how well the grille is made, color and fitment. Instead I purchased the grille on eBay from a Toyota dealer for $97 and the wiring harness (including switch, fuse, relay...i.e. made for a Toyota) from a different seller for $44. Then a pair of high power projector lense LED bulbs. Total cost was $157. I love the look of the foglight on the car, on or off.

Decided to follow through on the photoshop idea from earlier. Not quite as bright/fluorescent but I'm also adding some flake to it. Should be pretty interesting to run for a few months.

Got home early from class today and was able to snap a pair of photos of how they look on the car. They're def not as crazy looking as in the PS but they're quite bright.

The shop just sent me this pic as a teaser. The centers on My Weds Kranze Wheels are done. I decided on Ultra Black Chrome to go with polished lips.

Thanks @aportades @sfv41901. I like them too for now but I'm already thinking about the next color change lmao. Won't be for a few months though since I'll need to strip and repaint from scratch next time.
