What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Yeah it's a satin black vinyl. Had some leftover and was going to redo the roof. But I was bored last night and was super simple.
Yes the roof is wrapped as well because I couldn't afford the sunroof.
What wrap did you order? I'm going with the 3M di-noc when uncle back from California.

Finally had the time to install the front lip that has been sitting in the garage for over 6 months

Unrelated: I threw on a black TRD badge in my grill today but its kind of hard to notice since its black on black...

Also I did some mock-ups with the idea of possibly stickerbombing some areas on my car based on a prius i saw on a japanese instagram account I saw and here is what it might look like:





I really dig it but at the same time wonder if it might be too much.

How did I mock up the image?
Using some free program called paint.net which is like a photoshop.
I have a ton of graphic design experience so it was pretty simple. I took a photo of a stickerbomb pattern offline, morphed it to be the correct angle from the camera and used an overlay effect on a photo of my car I had.

 

Speaking of mock-ups. I've been debating slapping new grills into my front-end after seeing the amount of stuff that makes it's way through the grills on my LA to the Bay trip yesterday. After researching here on the forum and seeing others mention as well, I started researching mesh grills which I thought might look cool as well.

Did some quick photoshopping last hour and it turns out that it'll look fancy & functional after all. Just made the purchase.

Sonny, last year I was looking at that aftermarket grill as well and I think it would look great with a darker shade on your car. Go for it!

re-painted my front and rear tow hooks to match the rest of the green finally. Front isn't on regularly; normally sits in glove compartment. But rear one is always on.


and heard back from ebay hood bra company. said it was the right one they sent and just need to really stretch it and give it time. I don't like the way it turned out, but will figure out a way to make it more snug... (and if you noticed, took green mirror garnishes off and removed lower plasti-dip from DRLs)


rear spray delete was easier than I thought and forgot only 1 panel needs to come off the trunk.Not sure if I like the cheap material. But it will do for a few years.

i got that idea from you, yes. haha. I have scraps of cf vinyl laying in my trunk from other stuff.

So today I spent the day installing my new Pioneer 600NEX in my 2011 Prius. I am a little confused on how to wire up the rear view camera. Does anyone know how to, especially connecting in a way so that it turns on automatically when put in reverse? I do not know where the reverse trigger is

Yes, I almost bought it, but I was kicking around the siebon CF lip kit but $600 VS $99 is a no brainer
