I recently installed the same kit. If you run into an issues feel free to shoot me a message. I'm very happy with the light output. As a heads up I mounted the relay on the drivers side that way only one line runs across (hid mine under the plastic cover in front of the radiator) to the passenger ballast mounted using the front coolant reservoir mounting point. It will come with a ring terminal for positive to the relay but I installed a female push connector in its place and easily connected that to an open spot in the rear left of the fuse box. For ground on the driver side there's a great spot just below and left of the fuse box where an existing ground is located. I used that to mount the ballast as well. Other than that, the passenger side factory harness plug gets tucked away and not used, and driver gets plugged into the relay harness to trigger the relay. Hope this helps!

What do you mean by "...so being cautious and waiting longer than I have in the past."

Thinking of getting some 3M's myself this weekend, but they look so expensive. How are your 3M tints at keeping the heat out?

What brand of ceramic tint was used on your car?

How much did the wheels cost you?

I mean that I'm waiting longer than usual before rolling down the windows.

It's been a week, which is longer than I've seen recommended by most people/installers. I will probably use my windows on Monday (10 days after tint installation).

Shop around for lower price. I found a place with literally 100's of 5-star reviews as well as the cheapest prices. It was in an older part of a nearby city (~15 minutes from my house to the shop). The cheapest deal would've been for non-3M tint at the same % all the way around ($69); I negotiated the price of the 3M at the % I wanted to $130 OTD (since installation is basically all labor, and this is the slow season, you have the upper hand). I could've found a cheaper location, but this place was close enough and the reviews made me feel good about my decision.

Only cost $550! ($425 USD) I figure $220 for steel rims which rust and look like azz in few seasons...why not pay a bit more and get nice looking alloys.

Just ordered my Beat-Sonic Shark Fin! So happy I got the last one in stock and found a good price on it, we in Canada are not as blessed with the selections and pricing as you lucky folks in the USA.

Ya as per web posts and Youtube, the Beat-Sonic comes with a template which you can level/tape it to the base of roof where the glass trunk lid meets to ensure that it's straight. Im sure many brands do else make your own template.

I wanted to support the Prius Chat store but the shipping and US Dollar conversion is not in my favour (Weak Canadian Dollar).

Have not installed it yet--It should come in today, but it's raining a bit in SoCal so I probably won't get to it till Sunday. I've been wanting better lighting since I got the Prius. I've never had HIDs on any of my previous cars and did research and asked around this thread about HID vs LED bulbs. Drawback to LEDs is the color temp only comes in 6000k. I wanted 5000k for that pure white to match the rest of the lighting on my car.

    Are you on bags?

Hoping tonight is the night for coilover install.

Goal is to slightly tuck tire, but don't want to rub when turning. Looks like I need about 3" drop. Fenders are being rolled just for caution sake (wheels aren't too aggressive, 17x8+35).

    Thanks

Anybody with a good recommendation for a hood strut.

I just found these prius ceramic tints on amazon (Toyota Prius 10 2010 Precut Window Tint - Super High Heat Rejection Black Box Alpine - F20R5
    ). Are they for real?

I tried to install my own tint once a few years ago. Will never do that again. lol. I would easily have paid the difference for a professional installation. That way if they mess it up. You just take it back.
