What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Got cut off by some truck today just so he could slam on his brakes because traffic in front of us came to a complete stop. Very glad I got that dashcam.

 

Some people don't seem know that you're supposed to stop when the signal turns red. That rule also applies to people who are planning to make a right turn.

So... after I was cut off by someone -- who then slammed their brakes -- today, I began daydreaming about the paintball gun that I am going to mount behind the grill with a solonoid on the trigger which is wired into the horn circuit.

That should come with the tech package.

 

It must have been tough schlepping through a honeymoon with this project waiting for you at home.

 

Please mod my car as well when you figure out how to do this.

 

@Dylan Doxey Wasn't too bad but I'm happy that I've only been home for 48 hrs and I'm about 95% done, just need to route the controller into the lower portion of the center console and get an alignment, then it's onto camber plate install, Wheels/Tires mounted and rolling/pull the fenders... all hopefully done by Monday haha

What setup did you go with and u got any pics outside from the side before the rest of the add on's?

 

@Accordlayingkit I'm running a Airrex Strut with Accuair E-level Management, the car is spending the night on the rack so it can be buttoned up but tomorrow I can post some pics for you

 

Ok similar to @Sean Callahan ride. How much $ u got in the parts if u don't mine me asking? You do all the install on your own?

 

Yeah same set up, and as for a number estimate are we talking in just suspension or everything?

I'm about $5500 doing the install myself, I was told around $1500 for labor is about normal cost for install

@Accordlayingkit The excitement of parts constantly arriving and the challenge of the install (e-level ride height sensors) made spending the money worth it, just wish I could have gotten it all buttoned up yesterday

@SubCode I'm just waiting for the shop to open so I can it finished out, got about 2 hrs before they're open, once she's off the rack and home in the drive way I'll send some side shots

 

Cheesy but here's the dashcam soft cloth I use to keep it cool.

 

Way too OG for me... but @Dylan Doxey in his G's could maybe pull it off?
