I was thinking about a similar mount but concerned it blocks the touch screen.

I love "fix-it" tickets. It's let's me know my local law enforcement are hard at work alongside my tax dollars.

I wonder if you can be blamed for getting rear ended because the driver behind didn't see your tail lights clearly?

Many (not all) modifications to cars can (not necessarily will) result in a possible (not definite) legal liability. You make a mod, you take your chances. It will depend on how deep your pockets are if you are responsible (or sometimes not responsible) for an accident. Generally speaking, wheel/tire modifications (within reason), graphics, and minor add ons won't be a legal problem. Headlight, tail light, tinting beyond legal, extreme lowering modifications are "iffy". Been there, done that.

I'm referring black out your tail lights not "any" modification.

Don't know about the fix-it ticket... Have you seen the Valenti lights in person? Sure, they're dark in the pic while my car is parked, but they're way brighter than the OEM bulbs and the light is a full red tone when lit. Red reflector is visible and works fine as well.

Having a WGM Prius also, I can say that people seem to turn out in front of us as if they never saw us coming. Seems that the color doesn't stand out.

Which is why I put in a DRL mod, to increase visibility.

Your comment about the brake lights being bright does not address the fact that they aren't very visible during the day when running lights aren't on, and you're not braking.

This was not all done today, nor in one day:
Tinted Windows: 60% windshield, 30% all other. Professionally done. (Interior is bisque (light tan color))
    Remove hubcaps
    Plasti-dip all emblems (did myself)
Very light tint on tail lights (Used Lamin-X lightest one, just called "tint") Did this myself
    Personalized license plate
Not visible but I had a shop install Koni FSD struts
Replaced rear shocks with KYB Excel-G (myself and my mechanic friend)

Car has 14,200 mi, 1.5 years old. Only issue I've had is after going on a 15-20 mi dirt road ride quality seriously took a hit. Doesn't dampen rough asphalt anymore, feel every little crack and irregularity. Been to several shops and still trying to see if anything can be done. Other than that I love this car!

As long as the reflector is visible most CHP officers are okay with it FWIW.

Looking good brother! That's the first Duraflex Kit I've seen on a Prius. What wheels are those and what are the specs? Coilovers or bags? Regards, Ram

Bags had a set of tein coils but got sick of the ride quality they're k-sport airtech deluxe now cheap bur they work pretty well wheels are klutch km-20 19x8.5 +35 with 215/35r19 definitely wouldn't recommend that fitment without bags looks great slammed but too stretched at ride hieght and too wide to tuck without severely rolled fenders like mine still hanging up on something need to get in their and figure out what to get it a little bit lower want the body to be 1/16th off the wheel at full dump... probably gonna have to get the grinder out lol

Lol damn, I was wondering how you were able to tuck the wheels with that fitment. So you just rolled the fenders? Not running any camber?
