What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Got the windows tinted, took off the wheel covers, and added some centercaps.

 

Been busy working lately but been able to sneak these in... 39cents from my local hardware, couple coats of plastidip and voilà! Still need to do the rears but love the results so far.

 

How did turn off the TPMS warning light? I' m intrigued. Thanks

 

Too bad you can't disable using TechStream. Don't think you can. Saw a post somewhere regarding CT200H that they disable TPMS but they have to do some wiring which I don't want to touch. TPMS I think only has a lifespan around 6-7 years. Battery can't be replace. Just buy new one + installation + programming TPMS sensor. Could be expense at the end. On Prius if your TPMS is bad. Very hard to know which one is bad on Prius vs other car.

 

I haven't modded for months now. Today, the mod bug bit, just in time for summer installs.
Nothing difficult, just alot of small upgrades.
Now, the waiting game begins....

 

Haven't been to active here recently, seeing everyone's builds is awesome they are all coming along so much and you guys have given me so many more ideas haha. Haha I've noticed that to. Yeah my Prius blew up all over social media after I had the photos and video done. Was amazing how quickly it got out there.

*note that the diagram is looking at the pins and not the plug, so that you don't put the wire in backwards. Also I wasnt able to find any paper clips small enough and ended up using some copper-tin soldering wire from radioshack. Just bend the wire in to the 'hole's for pins 5 and 7 and then plug it back into the ecu.

I THINK this is going to complete my outside CF look! Ordered a new OEM gas door($54.00) and had it sent to my CF guy to wrap and clearcoat it($45.00). Now to find someone to help me drill out the riveted one that came on there and re-rivet the new one I guess. Toyota said like $100 bucks!
