No worries and thanks! I would say it's actually good that it's "hard to see" meaning it's effective without affecting the look of the car... So you mentioned that this reduced noise a bit? As is I actually hear a whoosing sound I believe around the side mirrors at 70KPH (I'm in Canada lol!) so anyone notice that too? I suspect that this is coming from the front door-front quarter panel junction where there's a hole that when you open the front door you can see through the front headlight area. Did you put this gasket there too? While waiting for the same to arrive I will add a second layer of undercoating in the wheel wells, do the rocker panels, spare tire well, and all underbody plastics. Really obsessed in getting that noise level down to a comfortable one for me, haha!

Is this simply plug and play and are you using it with the stock head unit? Those tweeters really suck.

Yeah, I am using the stock head unit and no it's not exactly plug n play.

The base model audio has 2.5" speakers in the dash.
To get 3.5" speakers to fit, you have to cut away little bit of dash and some of the underside part of the speaker grills.

In the audio sub-forum, there are several good threads with tons of detail and a couple guys posted PDFs with even more detail. User spiderman raved about these Pioneer TS-A878 speakers, several others followed his lead and also loved em, so that is what I ordered.

Actually to be honest with u when I asked my guy a few months ago he said $250 and I was gonna spend another $44 for new covers to send to him. So instead I was on the web u know killing some time and ran across these from AliExpress!

    (from AliExpress Android)

Figured for $85 shipped what the hell. I must admit I asked the same question about 4 different ways referring to the CF to make sure it wasent a cf print or something like that even though the image looked like the real deal. Lots of sellers on there selling them and the prices range from $85-$120 and there all using the same image so there apparently selling the same thing. I must say I'm pleased with my chance I took!

It did reduce some noise. It's subtle but noticeable. I'm still trying to figure out how to "seal" the front door gap but I have yet finding anything that will do it properly. I bought two cans of rubber undercoating and gonna spray the wheel wells and see if that will quiet the car down even more.

In other news. I've done nothing today other than driving it to work and back. Loving the new plastidipped wheels!!

Installed my new 8" touchscreen on Sunday. Looks great, fits nicely and everything works, play movies while in D, Bluetooth, Navigation, AM/FM, has an SD card slot to hold 32gb worth of music/movies. I used to have an iPad here but I think I'll keep this for awhile.

$294 shipped from Hong Kong, bought on eBay.
