Again following in @sfprankster s lead, I added the huge reverse lights (5K WHITE HIGH OUTPUT 21 LED BACK-UP LIGHT 7440 1000LM | 1 PAIR) this afternoon once the rain stopped. Looks bright in the daylight, but I'll have to check it out tonight.

I also tried to add some 5K vanity lights (5K WHITE HIGH POWER LED BULBS 194 168 158 80LM | 1 PAIR - 194 - 168 - 158 LED - Shop Bulb #) which are 80LM which seemed better for the vanity than the other 160LM leds I used for the map lights/doors, but I didn't really like the way it lights up only 1/2 way, so I switched them back to stock.

I tried to add some aluminum foil to try and reflect back some light and it helped, but it just didn't fill it out fully, closer but not quite enough. I might have to try something different.

*top image of the stock bulb is much more yellow than this image shows. IMG_4532.gif IMG_4535.gif

Amps.JPG Subs.JPG Added AMPS + Subs awhile back but forgot to post pictures. I kept the NAV stock. Don't want people to break in the car you know. I highly recommend upgrading the speakers, subs and add amps. When your doing this. Damping the door since everything is out.

Removed my front license plate & popped in the Bumper Plugz. And a special thanks to @Ramtart for installing the silver carbon plates behind the Toyota emblem (sorry for the bad pic). Thank you Ram, cheers! image.jpg image.jpg

thanks @Burna J for the idea. took off most of the door trim and hood stickers as well as those yellow bumper cover hazards. Didnt want to remove emission one on hood and inspection one on driver side. I then put them on an extra foam board when making my DIY visor extenders (sorry, no pics of those yet).

Then finally CF wrapped the back to cover the holes from badges. Was too lazy to take off. Might redo it in the summer but it seems great to me. Plus its pretty nice to have no emblem backing if I just want the CF look underneath it.

Still extra CF... tried making door handle protectors. But kept messing up because of the annoying concave shape. Gave up and it didnt look good. Might do seat belt pillars, spoiler, or glove boxes next weekend.

What do you guys think about this? I've been back/forth with trying this mod, it's corny but I like pantograph wipers since my dad had a ls400 Back in the day. Gonna test fit a Yaris wiper hopefully tomorrow!

I think if you like it then do it. Modify your car how you want not how others want but, it does look cool, I just prefer the more modern design.

Sounds cool, that's a 1 wiper on the front windshield right? Keep us updated. I may be interested in doing this.

I agree I was hoping someone may have tried and let me know if it didn't work so I don't waste too much time with it.

Actually I'm gonna still have both, however the goal is to transition from two to one! The Lexus ls460 and most exotics still use this style since it looks so aggressive, that's why I want to try it! BTW I have a Yaris for reference so hopefully I can pull it off and show you guys!

just super cheap foam board from walmart. Got the all-black, making sure the edges are black too. Used ruler and exacto knife to cut them. I was going to make custom elastic bands, but rubber bands do fine for now. Then used the extra foam board as a placeholder for door trim and hood stickers to put in the glove box.

A good handwash and wax, removal of the wheel covers. Had no idea those black beauty's were hiding behind those wheel covers until reading some threads on here. And to credit and earlier post as to a right of passage for Prius owners, yes I did fall on my arse pulling them off, I'm part of the club now! I like the look of the black a lot better. With several Sea Glass Pear Prii out there (and a few in my immediate area) its nice to do something that sets mine apart from them. Just gotta paint and install the home depot caps, a temp solution till I can get the logo ones.

I don't have a recommendation, but avoid Steven's Creek Toyota as well. I had a back window replaced and it took 4 visits and 24 days to get my car back. On top of that, I still had to get the car detailed and have a bunch of glass shards that they were too lazy to fix.

Looks super, wish I had that talent. I have the Carbon Fiber film, but don't have the nerve to try wrapping my hatch spoiler. When it warms up around here, I might just give it a try, any tips that might help me out?

Never really liked the stock chrome/blue or the all pearl white badges I plastidipped... o_O

This set of badges arrived from Japan yesterday and will be mounted tomorrow or Thursday. Depending on when I finish with a clay, polish and wax treatment... :p
