Installed hid projector fogs I got from Bino (thanks!), and also upgraded my low beams from 35w to theretrofitsource 50w ballast. Need to change the fog bulbs though not liking the ground wire shadow..;) 20150112_174913.jpg 20150112_174937.jpg 20150105_160836.jpg

You might be able to modify your HID bulbs to reinstall them with the ground wires in the 12 o'clock position to get rid of the ground wire shadows:

Thats what I thought. I am interested in doing this on my new 2015 Prius II. I feel like the car is rather "twisty" when going 70 down the freeway. I'm not sure how else to describe what I'm feeling. I don't really know much about this type of stuff and would need to have the work done at a shop. Do you know anything regarding cost of doing this? Maybe I'll make a post about it and get some opinions.

Start with the front and rear sway bars and the under bracing first. You can add those bars last, after you've done the rest.....

Yeah I'm not familiar at all with any of this stuff lol, basically I don't know the difference between the sway bars, bracing, and "those bars" lol. I'll put together a little post later today, I have some other questions as well that I'll group all together so I'm not bombarding the forum with a bunch of different NOOB stuff lol. Thanks!

Totally understand Bro, we’ve all been there. Just hate to see people spend money on things you may not need……Wait, maybe I’m the wrong person to say that. LOL.. :D

I am guilty as charged. My wife definitely thinks so.

I on the other hand believe that all these upgrades are necessary for safety reasons. :D

How to fudge....errrrrrrr.....I mean explain the safety benefits to the wife/gf.

Window Tint/Visors: You won't get sunburned and that will reduce the chance of skin cancer.

HID Lights: With brighter lights, we'll have less of chance of having an accident at night. ;)

    You get the idea...
This works with almost any mods... ;)

Be creative with your safety explanations and you can mod away without any worries...

After sitting on my desk since mid October... o_O

    Rear Hatch Cargo LED's Installed:
    IMG_5496.JPG

Not the simplest of mods to attempt, but after the speaker installations I recently completed, this was a relatively straightforward process.

The instructions are in Japanese and minimalistic, to say the least.

Unfortunately the LED's wire harness shipped with a blown fuse. :cautious:

    Cargo Hatch LED Update:

Replaced the fuse and working as intended... :)

A rock did it! Windshield star chip turned into a nice cracked windshield.

Windshield will be replaced on Monday, sadly with an aftermarket glass.

Insurance company will not cover the more expensive oem glass.

The shop replacing my windshield was nice enough to order me the best aftermarket glass he could find. Glass that will be installed will be a Pilkington.

If you take your car to a shop that doesn't use aftermarket glass, insurance WILL cover an OEM replacement.

In CA, it's your choice where you have the work done, not the insurance companies.

Understood. I can request for the oem replacement but I will have to pay the difference even after I pay the deductible. I am not about to spend $1000 on a glass that will probably get hit with a rock again and will have to be replaced.
