What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

I don't hear negative things but from people I trust it seems like a very expensive mod for what gains it provides. I'm worried about the car version of the placebo effect. I.e. I spent a bunch of money therefore I feel a difference.

 

Added PC fog lights and swapped out the parking light with amber led.

 

there's actually a light bulb in that very left side amber light ?

 

Flushed the brake fluid again. Did not do the job properly back in June so the pedal had been soft intermittently.

This time I followed the on-screen prompts to the letter (with F8L's help), and now, the pedal is super stiff - you can barely push it to the ground completely.

Life is good again.

 

is that light a turn signal light ?

that was was never available since the first day I bought my Prius, even when I look at it close up, I don't see any bulbs behind that reflector.

I attached a gate opener under the dash with some 3M DualLock. Its like a really sturdy velcro. The range works fine, and the remote will stay there except for battery changes. The original idea was to put it inside the dash and add a button to one of the blanks by the gas cap release, but this way only costs $3 and 30 seconds.

 

^ I haven't pressed it yet. I think its electronic.

I'm not noticing any gains on either as of yet. I will post updates if I see any gains or losses. Would I recommend it? Not for full price, but I got a great deal on it and I'm happy with it.

 

I disabled DRL's in the MFD options and turned the headlight timer to 0-seconds also in the MFD menu's.

PiP has DRLs down on the bottom of the front bumper, and I don't like to use them during the day, and at night find myself accidentally driving with those on instead of the low beams. So I just disabled them.

 

My Prius is sitting in a garage until tomorrow night when I get back to San Diego from Sacramento (Rocklin). Poor car is sitting in the garage dirty.

When I return it will be washed inside and out as well as tires rotated.

 

Got these babies and installed them today Also, installed lamin-x on my tails and Replaced my 5mm spacers with 10mm spacers at the back
