So what model prius year(s) will this fit? When you read the description what does "early", "present" or "late" mean when translated to model years? This is a big confusion when determining if it fits your model year or not. ZVW35 is the plugin?

Has anyone ordered from this global rakuten company Revier? Reliable company? No worries of credit card fraud? This company actually has some items that I would like to order.

Pretty sure they would fit the earlier ones because the really only difference in the early and present prius is the light style. But They both look like the same exact dimensions just different design. I've heard of a lot of people ordering from there with no issues I personally have not used them before but I probably will soon because I will probably order this ;) haha

Global Rakuten is somewhat like Amazon/Ebay, hosting smaller businesses. You'll be linked to individual companies that sell the items. I've ordered a set of rear hatch cargo lights and have had no issues, other than all the emails you receive will be in Japanese.

They'll fit your ride @Xterra72 , @Sean Callahan. I've got the smoke ones. I just think they look cool.
But just a heads up, the DRL bar is not very bright at all, in the day time...

I've ordered lots of stuff from Rakuten site with no problems. You just won't know how much shipping and duties tax will be until after you order. Or you can get them thru @pansontw web site. They just had them on sale for $140 shipped, but it looks like the sale is over. I'd PM him.... And they're being sold on eBay now also.

I just installed a set of driving lights that I found on Amazon for $80. They work great!

Thanks a lot Sean for the clean installation! (Also repalced the stock horms to FIAMM Hi/Lo). Definitely will see Sean again for future mods.
Nowhere close to the OEMs in brightness during daytime, but I really like the way these look on my car.
I'll post some daytime pics later on.

A night time pic for now: LED DRL TURN1.jpg

How to make your Prius doors sound like a Mercedes Benz when closing... :ROFLMAO:

    Audio upgrade Stage I:
    Sound dampening the rear doors.

    After:

I'll add some material to the area around the speaker bracket, once I begin replacing the speakers.

    The audio upgrade begins... [IMG]

[IMG] I'm new here and new to owning a Prius 2013 purchased used, first thing I did when I got it, was replaced all interior lights with LEDs that I already had, removed front license plate, that was 2 weeks ago, then spent an hour washing the wheels, nice rims but they are a pain to clean, time consuming.
Day 2 got the windows tinted.
Yesterday I replaced the motorcycle horns with real car horns.
Today I washed the whole car for the first time.

    Audio upgrade Stage I:
Installed a pair of JL Audio TR650-CSi component speakers into the rear doors.
    IMG_5087.JPG

The sound stage has drastically moved from primarily in front of the driver/passenger seats, with a muffled, muddy sound from the rear. To a more spatial sound stage, centered around the front seats. (y)

The stock rear speakers, weigh almost as much as a new roll of cheap paper towels. :cautious:
    IMG_5074.JPG IMG_5076.JPG

...and no, not the extra absorbent kind. o_O

Full write up(w/pics  ) of the rear door speaker installation/sound dampening in my sfprankster's (mis)adventures modding a 2014 Prius Model Three thread.

Neodymium magnets allows for a smaller, lighter driver. The sound quality is not determined by the type magnet... but I swapped my speakers out as well :)

    Audio Upgrade Stage II:

With a lot of help from my friends at Pro Audio in Santa Clara, CA, a Pioneer AVIC-6000NEX head unit and a JL Audio JX360/4 amp was installed into my Faux Five Prius today.

    Before:
    IMG_5068.JPG
    After:
    IMG_5167.JPG

Mounted into the rear tray, with enough slack in the wires, to remove the doughnut spare tire.
    IMG_5177.JPG

Even with the stock front door speakers in use, and the dash tweeter currently disconnected, the Audio Upgrade sounds dramatically better.

    Audio Upgrade Stage III:
Need to install a pair of JL Audio C2-650 component speakers and sound dampen the front doors, to complete the Audio Upgrade tomorrow.

I plan to replace the 6" x 9" speaker in the front door with the JL Audio 6.5" speaker and the dash tweeter will be replaced with a flush mounted JL Audio tweeter into the A pillar interior panel. Sound dampening for the front doors and rear hatch will finish the Audio Upgrade(for now anyways). :ROFLMAO:

As an added bonus, my TRD leather shift knob, with the Rude person's adapter, delivered today also. ;)

One easy, and another more time consuming mod, on the schedule for tomorrow. o_O

I put JBL GT7-96's in the front doors with a whole bunch of GTmat sound deadener, got an oil change and tires rotated, replaced a license plate lightbulb, and spent an hour arguing with the local dealership about whether or not Toyota makes engine block heaters for the Prius (he thought they didn't).

    See post #5770 above ^^^^

A pair of JL Audio TR650-CSi component speakers in the rear doors and the stock 6" x 9" front door speakers(dash tweeters are disconnected from the circuit).

    JL Audio TR650-CSi consists of 6 1/2" mid-woofers and 1/2" silk dome tweeters @ 4 ohms
