If you don't know what a love bug is count yourself lucky. I can see two of those little buggers in this photos just mocking me lol.

you added the lower trim and I'm thinking about taking mine off lol. I'm guessing its just placed on with 3m double sided tape.

Lol, yeah it's held on by really sticky 3m tape. Best way would be to heat it up and use dental floss to cut through the tape.

Used Platidip for the first time. I am happy with the results and eventually I will get all the emblems. Does anyone know how to get the rear toyota emblem off? I tried but I did not want to scratch the paint or damage it so I figured Id ask if there was a trick to it. The front came right off. 2014-09-28 19.16.27.jpg

I just got a ticket for waiting for the police to pass in the carpool lane and "touching" the double yellow line. He was going way below the speed limit. Any suggestions? Should I contest it?

Use an old credit card and go underneath the bottom center. This will release the lower tab and the emblem will come off. Don't push up too hard and break the tab!

I used several layers(3) of masking tape at the center bottom, upper right and left corners and gently pried the badge off with a plastic tipped bicycle tire iron to cover the blue/black badge background with carbon fiber vinyl.

That sucks. Were his beacon lights flashing?

If u didnt exit the car pool lane, then u can't get a tickey for just touching the double yellow

Installed a pair of cheapo Walmart lights in the lower console. Puts off a pretty cool blue glow at night. Not too much to be distracting, but enough to illuminate that otherwise dark area. They look kinda lame in the picture, but from the drivers POV, all you can see is the light. Worth $8 for sure : )

I did alot today. First I washed my car, plastidipped the rear toyota emblem (thanks for the tips Plus IV and sfprankster) , and I bought a weathertech cargo mat for $50 off of someone on craigslist (I had to drive 50 miles to meet him but it was worth it.) The weathertech mat was really dirty and I had it pressure washed when I washed my car. It cleaned up nice but it is missing the weathertech badge on it. He said it fell off and I can see where it was glued on from the factory. Other than that it was the best $50 I think I ever spent.

Isn't the dog supposed to be ON the mat in the back of your Prius?;-)

Ya she will spend some time riding on the mat. She kept getting in my photos and it is rare that she stays still long enough to get a picture of her. As you can see the other picture i posted the other day of the front emblem plastidip she made it into the cornor of the frame.
