Unless your good enough to cover everything good enough in 1 coat your good... I did small mist coats then thicker coats and didn't even thinking about the pasti pulling SD I slowly pulled the tape off! lol oh well this will be gone before I leave for work haha

 

Props for trying something different though. Best thing about that plastidip though, it peels right off!

I was going to try plastidipping stripes. Or stars. Maybe not so much anymore.

You can do the 4-6coats like you normally do for any plasti dip project, but your last coat has to be thicker and make sure your edges are wet where the tape is and peel the tape right away and at a angle. Another tip is to tape around where u are gonna put your edge and tape the actual edge last so your only pulling one strip of tape(quickly) I did something similar before I dipped my whole car....hope this helps

The only issue was I had old painters tape and in two spots it didn't stick well and some dip went under it

Replaced all broken tabs and testing JDM LEDs. Hope to have them installed soon.

Very easy just got to fully break off the old tabs then screw in the new tabs.

 

great job man! So where do u get the HID bulbs for them..u had to order them as well?

 

The bulbs are built into the headlight assembly. I had to purchase the ballasts though. I got them locally from a wrecking yard.

Noticed a couple days ago that my clear plate cover was weatherworn, so replaced it with a new and improved version, this one is much thinner and much clearer lol

 

No problem dude.... dang still jelious though lol
