I have the silver 2011 rim. Some posts on here have said that the Classic Silver Metallic from Toyota is quite close.

 

Installed my "Headlight Washer Cover" its just the cover so ssssshhhhhhhhh...LOL

 

where did you get the cover? i've been wanting to do that as well but i don't know where to get the cover. its really nice!

 

Just returned from a road trip to the Eastern Sierra - stopped by Manzanar, June Lake, Mono Lake, Bodie, etc. just to name a few:

In June Lake, round trip 900 miles + 2 days worth of residual gas to commute to work: total cost = two full tank of gas, around $75.00. Prius took the worst beating since ownership.

Drove up to Bodie State Historical Park


To get to Bodie, I had to make a right onto Bodie Rd going up the 395-N, then drive for 13 miles on eerily freshly paved road. The last 3 miles that lead into the site is unpaved dirt road and that 3 mile lasted 20 minutes on a lowered Prius. At time, it felt like the Prius was going fall apart from all the crazy vibration - we almost turned back 1/4 of the way on the dirt road because the drive was so nerve wrecking, but we didn't drive 40 miles north of our post just to turn back!


All in all, this was the first "real" road trip I've taken (i.e. more than 300 miles round trip, I've taken plenty of sporadic day trips to San Luis Obispo once every few weeks). Very pleased with the fuel economy of the Prius

Surprisingly no rock chips but my front bumper is covered from top to bottom, left to right with bugs and gnats .

Haha yup, getting the Prius detailed this week!

Great pic F8L, it is definitely an interesting area. The entire Owens Valley appears desolate at a glance but there are a lot of cool hiking and biking trails, lots of photo vistas and interesting stops and shops if the trip is planned well ahead of time.

Next road trip will be from LA to Crescent City in Dec. . Took the same trip with the RSX last year but this year with the Prius and fully loaded (taking our bikes with us this time).

Two things done today. One I'm loving...the other...is just meh....ok. Swapped out my high beams for some supposed 4300K Solaris bulbs. And then swapped out my pedal covers for those nice Asian ones I got the hook up for on Ebay......excuse the crap pics. First here are the stock bulbs with high beams on, then the middle has one of each. Then the 3rd has both replaced with the Solaris bulbs


Then, here are the pedals before and after.....


Honestly color me naive, but I thought the bulbs would be a bit closer in color to my LEDs. *shrug*. As you can see the foot rest got damaged in shipping slightly
