What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Ok, you can put this one under the... What? and Why? category. Just having fun.

 

My favorite modification is the carbon fiber "battery" sticker I have on my hatch glass.

 

Did you have these made or did you order them? Looks cool to me.

They’re not real high pressure hoses…
I bought the Earl’s Plumbing braided S.S. hose cover from Summit racing, and just made it work.

I washed, clay barred, then did a swirl remover, then used a nice glaze which gave the Pri a nice deep wet look. Finished with paint sealant, and dressed the tires. The paint looks flawless now. Not even a slight swirls mark left. Total show room quality. The sealant looks kind of hard so going to top it all off with a rich coat of wax to get the deep wet look back. Took all day but I love th see results.

Lol, gotta add a brake light flasher module now... gotta make sure those ppl who already hate Priuses know what's in front of them, and in their mind, in their way.

Well its only 5 months old so this was the first time. Shouldn't have to do the swirl remover again. The sealant should keep the glaze on for a few months. It just rained today and it beaded up nicely. The paint is smooth like glass. I was impressed with the results. now all my friends and neighbors want me to detail their cars

 

Dressed up the door strike plates with some $11 covers.

 

I heard they don't stay without adhesive?

 

These have a small lip on the outside edge that holds them tight. So far so good but will keep you all posted if they fail.

 

This is what I did to my Prius this week...

TEIN H-Tech Lower Springs (2" drop instead of 1.2~1.3" as claimed)
TRD Rear Sway Bar

 

Oh, I never chimed in on this thread the-day-of. I'll recap what was done up to now.

Had a 3M Ventureshield pre-cut ("bikini pattern") clear bra installed. Also had the rear bumper "Prius" applique/protector installed.

Installed some Clazzio leather seat covers and some US-style mudguards.

Installed a TRD/Plus rear sway bar, and swapped in a RAV4 front sway bar.

Slapped on an old-school TEQ sticker. That alone is worth 20 horsepower.
