Put blue trim on my wheels. Wish it where slightly thicker but didn't turn out too bad for under 10 bucks

This little two mods have been on my mind since I got the car. After I did the back (so easy once I figured it out) I had to do the front as well. Also pretty darn easy.

finally got it lowered today! TRDs w/stock black wheels, winter grey. id post pics, but i know everyone knows what they look like by now. besides im going to start a build thread up (slow progressing build thread :D ) and will post my progress in there. oh and im either crazy or these TRDs ride way better than my stock springs did. didnt think i would feel that much difference. looks much better, but now i need 17s ;).

are those eyelids? im starting to think i really want them... even though they are so pricey.

Today I got my Cusco Front under brace, installed in less than 20 minutes, according to the service manual one of the bolt required 107 ft-lbs?!, but I can break loose all 3 bolts by hand easy without using my prepared impact gun, quickly put it in and torqued all bolts to 70 ft-lbs. What a different driving experience...the ride so smooth, right amount of stiffness to my liking, noticeable chassis tighten before and after, I have to watch out for speeding, driving 80+mph feels like 65 mph, on rough freeway road the bouncing are almost gone. I am pretty happy with these add on although it's pretty pricy but everything has a reasonable value. I personally do not like lower suspension and big wheels. The stock 15" rims and tires works GREAT with these add on parts.

You can't put those eyelids on the USDM headlights because the parking lights would be blocked. He has the JDM Prius G lights, I believe.

ahhhh... those JDM Prius G lights are pretty nice. been considering playing with plastidip smoke to get a semi translucent eyelid. would be much cheaper and the parking lights would still be functional. and if a cop gives me the biz about it i will just peel it off right there for him. just thinking out loud.

here is an update to my post from earlier regarding what i did to mine today. pics are of dif sides of the car. top is the day i got it and below was from today after getting the TRD springs put on.

I was wondering about that. I didn't think the old relay was that easy to remove. Well, I'll try it out, it did seem doable at the time, but I thought it was snug enough. I do want that oem feel though. Thanks dude!

Ok another mini mod. But one I wanted to do since I got the car. Kuda Leather hand made phone dash mount. I love them and have had one in every car I owned since my 06 xA. Sits a little high after I attached the extra holder they included free (did not have my grey color so they sent a gift), but it's still so convenient and clever. Great quality. Prob. going to buy a better holder soon though as this one is very bulky.

Before and after. No phone pic cause I am using it to take the pics :) 993402_10153271503700092_420270071_n.jpg 1234674_10153271504270092_158144302_n.jpg 1237887_10153271505030092_604968948_n.jpg 599292_10153271505675092_331524790_n.jpg

    Hi PC,

. Installed JDM Mirrors from MIT Accessories. Tons of posts already on the install, so I will spare you details except this:
On the 2013 SOLAR, there are two (2) blue wires in the A Pillar! (for puddle lamp ground).
Use the Dark BLUE wire, not Light Blue wire!

Odd: the kit had wires & taps, but it did not have screws for the lamps - had to go get some from ACE hardware. I did not use taps but soldered connections.

On a side note, I have the Prius HID kit on order from XenonSupply.com Link
Pro TIP! Before you click checkout, Google & find a XenonSupply discount coupon code! I saved about $20! ;)

Hmm... come to think of it, I have replaced just about every bulb on this car already and it's barely a month old. The insanity begins anew... :p
