So far, I've installed the rear bumper applique, the Weathertech side window vents and the front mud flaps. Tomorrow I'll get the rear mud flaps, hood protector, the TPMS bypass and Konig Zero-in wheels done. In a month or so, the oem wheels will be getting General Altimax Artic skins. After that, I think I'll start working on some basic suspension upgrades. Then a 350 Stroker with a blower, DANA 40 housing and a chained down 410 tranny, cherry bomb exhaust.Whoops, that was the '86 'vette roadster :) ...........

Wow! What MPG are you getting? Kinda defeats the whole purpose of a Prius, though I suspect whatever MPG you're getting is still better than most cars. Congrats.

Got the Zero-ins mounted, door edge guard added, rear mud flaps on and the hood protector/bug deflector installed. The bug deflector seems very straight forward, but a word to the wise, make a template and then verify the location points for the mounting blocks that attach to the hoof. I wasn't that smart and because my measurements were slightly off, I had to (ahem) customize the deflector to get it mounted. Better yet, I' going to contact the manufacturer and suggest that they put a template in each kit they sell. Sort of Chapter two in the instruction book "Hood protector mounting for Dummies"........ I'll take some photos tomorrow and see if I can get them to upload. :)

everyone is saying it's really hard to reach the relay. Did you remove any parts to reach the relay?

The only thing that needs to be removed is the lower panel under the driver side dash. The hardest part is reaching ur hand up inside the dash while laying on ur back. The relay is just on the other side of the top of the dash.....so u have to reach way up in there.

Nope, just reached up behind the steering column,,, felt around until I could feel the same size housing, which took me a minute, pressed the release, pulled it out, then picked up the new relay and plugged it in. The new relay will just hang around in there. You can tuck in somewhere, but the cord that plugs into it is really short, so it wont move at all.

If you are thinking about it, do it. I thought I had to be super slim to do it, but it was pretty easy.

Small stuff but big deal for me. Just a small yet, great contrast difference for the interior. More to come in a month or so.

Hehe before and after pics. Steering wheel next. Matching pieces from Japan still working on that. The whole idea is to look OEM or maybe at the very least consistent and not over done.

Why let it hang when all that needs to be done is the lock tab released, slide out OEM relay, install new relay. 100% garunteed not to rattle. That's hoe I did mine :D

I am getting 40 to 43 mpg. Not bad for 19s. From my V8, this is cost savings for me big time. I just wanted a more sporty jdm style looking prius. Thank you!

Thanks Sean/ quickbike for the input. I have ordered the relay and it's on its way. The hyper flash is annoying. I took a look under the dash and took this picture with my phone. I'm going to try to accomplish this using my phone camera so I can see what I'm pulling :D
