What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Had a set of Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus installed yesterday. Pretty nice rubber, very quiet.

 

Those look amazing! Where did you buy them? I haven't seen them with the arrows in mirror before.

 

did you pour the whole bottle in the engine? isn't a little over the full mark on the oil dipstick? I've used other branded oil additive before but it only last 1 oil service interval, so this Ran-up not a 1 time treatment. Did you notice any gain in MPG or performance improvement? Where did you get it though, I'd like to get it. Thanks in advance.

 

The LED turn signal arrows only cost $12.95 with shipping. Here's the eBay LINK. They arrived the same day as my JDM LED mirror. Since I had to remove everything including the mirror glass, they were an easy install. They mount on the inside of the mirror. You have to heat the black edge seal and back cover with a heat gun to remove the cover. Gently, peel back the heating element enough to mount and the re-stick the heating element and put the black cover back on. I don't anticipate any problems with them. If I do, I'll order the blue mirrors with the LED built in. It would be an easy retrofit, since I did the install before. The blue mirrors with the built in LEDs come in red and amber arrows, and the sequencing arrows either mirror top or bottom. I like what I have and hope they last a long time. They sure look factory.

 

Hi -1-. How do the led mirrors impact heated mirrors? Is the heating element still in place?

I followed the video off their web site. Heated the black frame and black cover on mirror (one piece) and removed it. Also slightly heated the heated mirror element and peeled it back. I covered the LED arrow and reinstalled the backing to the mirror. No damage to either and I assume they will work as before.

 

I got this today, and installed it less than 30 minutes, took longer to jack up car on jack stands. I am glad I got this it makes the car much much more stable on any driving condition, it makes turns and hard cornering very controllable, I notice less floaty on uneven road surface, also I notice I don't feel anymore twist force on my back when turning quickly, overall I like it a lot, compare to my previous test "Amino ultra brace" this Cusco center brace improve the ride quality and right amount of stiffness on the chassis. Installation is a breeze I torqued the 14mm nuts to 27 ft-lbs and the 10mm rear nuts to 12 ft-lbs. Highly recommended.

 

Installed the Clazzios on the front seats before the sub went down. I'm really happy with them. Thanks to Rodney for the help ordering!

Took my baby in to Toyota today; one of my foglights went out... Frustrating... I told the dealer it was a bulb out... they kept my car all day to tell me they checked connecters, they checked the cables, they checked this and they determined yes the bulb went out.... And of course, the Toyota dealer doesn't have the bulb in, it's a special order part. So I get to go back yet again...

 

Why didn't you just buy and change the bulbs yourself? It would never occur to me to take the car in for that.
